JOB TITLE: TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (OIL AND GAS)

JOB SUMMARY
• Technical Training and Consulting.
• To get the full knowledge of the Oil and Gas local market and business environment.
• To provide support in collecting information related to the Industry that would benefit the Company

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing new training programmes and necessary requirements to conduct the trainings
• Facilitate Oil and Gas Training Courses.
• Ensure that safety issues are comprehensively covered in all courses and given maximum priority in both theoretical and practical training sessions.
• Develop and continuously update training material relating to courses e.g. manuals, exams, instructor’s guides, instructional aids.
• Ensure that training courses are developed to a professional standard.
• Ensure that training courses are presented in a professional manner.
• Assist with competence assessments.
• Ensure that pre and post-course administration is completed accurately and on time to maintain accuracy of training records.
• Market the company’s Oil and Gas Training programmes
• Participate in overall control, planning, management, direction, and coordination/implementation of training, outsourcing and recruiting activities as well as providing advice and guidance on policy and procedure
• Follow up on existing and new clients.
• Obtaining and updating Organization charts and any other documents that Company require or provide to its clients.
• Writing feasibility on the key projects, market analysis and client
• Provide documents to support business plan
• Identify potential new clients or areas of opportunity
• Managing business relationships.
• Develop new business opportunities.
• Developing and managing business partnerships and strategic alliance.
• Prepare and submit weekly plans and reports of achievements.
• Advise management in procurement of cost effective components needed to conduct the training programmes.



QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• First Degree in Chemical /Mechanical /Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years Technical Experience in Oil and Gas Sector
• Good skills with the computer, especially with Visio, power point, excel etc.
• Team Player
• Strategic thinker
• Fluency in English is must
• Excellent in problem solving, analytical skills
• Ability to work in multicultural environment and under pressure
