Total e & p nigeria limited interview update

I think the idea behind the psychological testing is to tell your personality and not necessarily to tell who is telling lies

Sorry I want to ask a few questions please if u don't mind....afta final panel interview how long did it take 4 dem to call u 4 medicals? Wat kind of tests did they conduct during the medicals

Hello Guys,

I was sent three mails over a month ago to my university email asking for my current location and to invite me for Technical Test and subsequent interviews. I only just logged into that email today to see the message. Does anyone in the house have a Total Rep I can call to schedule for the test and interviews?

I think you've lost that one mate! that's why they advice to have an alternate email address when you apply.

I heard of a guy who got sent an email to come for medicals. The email was sent to his uni email which was already deactivated by his university. The mobile number he registered with as inactive as well. So there was a chance blown basically

Its also tiring for me cos I started in October 2011. The worst thing is that they keep on conducting more test when they still have so many people waiting on them.

So, have they gotten back to you since then?

I recently got an email from Total as well, asking for my present location. Based on the fact that it took them a year to get back to me, I won't bother getting my hopes up this time. Let's see how things pan out.

I also got an email from TOTAL asking for details of my current location.

It appears they'd be asking us to resume by early next year.

Yes they did, sent 3 emails in 3 weeks. They sent another, which i believe most of us got. Someone told me its for medical logistics but i'm thinking the mention of 1st qtr next yr means the conclusion of the process is still far man.

I also got thesame email from them and I think its the last stage. They were blank on me for about 10 months also before I was invited for the psychology stage sometime in August. We'll see how things go in the coming months..

I got a call today from Total. They said they were calling in respect of the mail they sent me, as at the time of the call i hadn't received the mail. the caller asked that i sent them an updated CV since the one they had was old. He said to send the CV by replying to the mail. He also requested that i update my CV on their career website.

I started my process with Total March 2011 when i applied for a job opening, they contacted me in July 2011 inviting me for aptitude test August 27, 2011. and the subsequent interview with the consultant psychologist, Sept 2011, heard again from them December 30th 2011, saying i progressed to the next stage and they will keep me informed within the coming months.

Today they made the next contact 10 months after. Hope they did get in touch with every other person in this our long wait group.
Really looking forward to getting this job.

Purchasing Officer/expediting officer.

OK, I decided to call the number back yesterday, I asked why they were asking for CV update and if there is any chance of them progressing on the process. The guy said "that it was the reason they asked for it" so he went on to explain the processes and said "he believes this time it won't be that long".

So fingers crossed we might all be hearing from them soon.

After a long wait (almost one year), I just received another invitation for a professional test with Total. Anyone else received the same mail?

I got the same mail but how is their professional test like?

Also got one. This time in Lagos, professional test is based on the job area you applied for. A friend of mine wrote their professional test early this year she said it had Objectives questions as well as theory but more of theory.

Absolutely correct. They will test you on the role you are being considered for and not necessarily what you studied in uni (although that will come in handy as well).

School yourselves on everything there is to know about the role and you will be fine. Normally not that difficult but challenging


For those that got the email for this technical test, what date/venue was stated for it? just curious

It seems all the people getting an email from Total now did their test and first round interview in Nigeria.

I would think so, because our set; those who wrote aptitude test August 20th and 27th 2011 did not write the professional test which usually go together. So I guess they would want us to do that first before the panel interview which will then involve you guys who have already done your professional test. Just my take, could be wrong.

We actually did not write a professional test. We did the Line Manager/ HR interview after the aptitude test and most of us have also done the psychology. Guess we'll see what happen soon.
