SYNTHESIS GEOLOGIST / WELL SITE GEOLOGIST
- Guarantee the realization and quality of the most appropriate studies and geological models aiming at evaluating field reserves, contingent resources related to discoveries and prospective resources
- Guarantee the consistency and integration (as per state of the art rules – professional area codes) of the information deduced from geological data in Geoscience studies;
- Take part in the assessment of the Group's resources
- Contribute to and Guarantee deliveries of the key technical notes in line with the E&P internal procedures (technical committees)
- Contribute to the building and updating of the databases of the TOTAL Group with special emphasis into the semi-regional synthetic maps (incl. geopetroleum maps, play maps…)
- Guarantee compliance with professional area codes of practice
- Contribute to enhancing investments through a continual search for methods and tools that can optimize the efficiency of exploration within the Group
- Guarantee pertinence, reliability and quality of data and geological measurements acquired while drilling
- Define, propose, set-up and supervise well data acquisition programs in compliance with safety requirements in the fields of drilling and geology, while optimizing costs and quality
- Contribute to the safety of operations through real-time detection of geological and downhole conditions that could have and adverse effect on drilling
- Select and supervise contracted services
- Contribute to the estimation of the Group's OHIP by conducting geological and petrophysical interpretations and syntheses

UPSTREAM GEOPHYSICIST SEISMIC PROCESSING ENGINEER
- Assist in the preparation of the technical and budget prognosis of seismic processing programmes.
- Assist in the establishment of complete scope of work to be included in Call For Tenders and contracts.
- Assist in the handling of CFT evaluation and Recommends to the Government authorities the appropriate contractors.
- Participate to the full monitoring of seismic processing, QC of tests/production and Ensure good reporting.
- Participate in associated day to day activities in Geophysics Operations Department.
- Ensure that turnaround and budget are respected for each project.
- Assist in the preparation and handling of Call out contracts established for processing and reprocessing
- Assist in the bench marking and ranking of local processing contractors in terms of technical capacities and staff competence.
- Make regular contacts with geophysicists form different Assets on ongoing projects.
- Make contact with HQ in terms of technical advice, updating technologies and applications.
- Update the Geophysical database and carries out internal and external (partners) reporting as required.
- Reports regularly and Discuss decisions with the Geophysics Operations Manager of all processing projects that he handles.

RESERVOIR ENGINEER
- Assess, as accurately as possible, hydrocarbon reserves by estimating production profiles, taking into account the geology and reservoir geophysics for reservoir characterization, fluid properties, well drilling and monitoring results, throughout production and possible further developments of fields.
- Take part in Company reserves estimations, essentially for internal decisions.
- Provide realistic production forecasts for budget purpose.
- Establish with the Head of Reservoir Engineer the Reservoir Monitoring Program of the fields.
- Control, under the reservoir aspect, field production operations and adapt them to data acquisition and syntheses
- Contribute to the profitability of Exploration & Production investments, by permanently striving to improve the recovery factor and to accelerate production, within the framework of the Group's economic standards. In particular, propose any relevant operation (in-fill, work over…) to improve and accelerate oil and gas recoveries
- - The incumbent is expected to work in close contact with other Geosciences entities (Operations Geology and Geophysics, Reservoir Geology and Geophysics, Reservoir Engineering) and drilling departments for preparation of future wells and monitoring of on-going operations.

GEOMATIC ENGINEER GeoInformation
- Prepare and compile Geosciences information suitable for cartographic presentation.
- Provide or coordinate provision of maps and topographical data on request
- Exchange the information and data with other Geosciences teams and with other divisions
- Perform geodetic transformations and geodesy advise in Geosciences
- Use of all the cartographic software and geodesy tools (especially Arcview, Microstation and GCU)
- Stay in contact with Geomatics team in HQ to learn about new developments and stay in line with HQ recommendations.
- Advise and maintains the roadmap for future GIS developments in the affiliate.
