Store Attendant
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verbally communicates daily with Component Manager/Supervisor.
- Provides "on the job training" to new and subordinate staff.
- Ensures and verifies that the goods received are the correct goods invoiced and in the proper quantities and weights ordered.
- Inspects quality of goods received and arranges replacement/or credit for damaged/poor quality goods.
- Verifies correct supplier pricing received as per contracted and quoted prices.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles at the building loading dock.
- Responsible for the correct assembly, retrieval, receiving, delivery and shipping of orders as instructed by the component Manager/Supervisor.
Qualification and Requirements:
The minimum qualifications necessary for acceptable (satisfactory) job performance are:
- Successful completion of high school.
- A minimum of three years of directly related experience as a Lead in a high volume storeroom required.
- Must be able to lift and carry a load up to 25 kg without strain.
- Must have a full medical examination.
