i spoke with bernard enahoro last week and he confirmed to me that they will make contact this week. so lets intensify prayers. Allah will see us through.

I think the coy is trying to meet up with 1st week in September and considering the fact that about 1-2weeks will be needed for medicals, no doubt the hour is fast approaching.

So I can go ahead and give my 1 month notice of resignation.

I have been following this thread since "positive thinker" initiated it when he got his interview invitation. Everybody is important..........or so they think. One man's space displaces another man because everybody cannot be called.
People that want to work in shell are not necessarily interested in the work but the life changing salary. That is why other people with jobs would not mind displacing the unemployed. This is a Nigerian attitude which is not so bad. When the results are out, there would be mixed feelings here. Some would say sorry to others, and some would stop commenting. Reliable info says it is coming out soon. No need for a high blood pressure because "what must be , must be".
Those that would be called should not bother to say it as this would make other people sad. Believe me, some people already have their place and all they are doing now is waiting for the official release. This is a norm in our society. Do not be discouraged (even though positive thinking can do little good as at now).
For those that would not be called, it is not the end of the world, especially for the unemployed. Sometimes what we want may not be God's plan for us. As i noticed also, a lot of people have gone religious on the matter. Probably God wants those people to know him better.
Congratulations in advance to the successful. Do not forget to give thanks and do some charity also.

This week won't be bad timing. Congrats to all successful candidates.
