3 Routes to Shell

There are three alternative routes into Shell for you to choose from. Any one of these can lead to a permanent job offer. There's real flexibility, as each route offers a very different taste of life at Shell. And it's worth finding out more now, as you'll be asked to select your preferred route during the application process.

To get started, simply complete our online application form and attach your full resumé. The form is designed to highlight your qualities and strengths in key areas. At the same time, you'll be asked to complete two Questionnaires: the first giving you an insight into life at Shell, the second allowing you to assess your personal style and aptitude.

We'll study your application carefully and, if invited to an interview, you'll be able to demonstrate your potential and discover whether we can help you achieve your career aspirations. We may then offer you the chance to gain direct experience of Shell through one of the three routes:

Option A: Shell Recruitment Day

This eight-hour day includes exercises, presentations and a group discussion - enabling you to find out how well you cope in different business scenarios and assess your potential for business or technical leadership. It's not a competition for jobs - simply chance for us to observe you in action.

@saitduck, if you applied previously for a position less than a year ago, and you want to apply for this one, simply use a DIFFERENT email address than the one you used in the previous application. Also, last year the application closed march 31st, this year i don't know

it will close on the 16th of march 2011, so if you have not applied make it fast.

Thought SITP used to apply through this ...superachievers .net. Please correct me

@donivald. after opening a new account with shell, while filling the form, i was asked if i had applied to shell before. The last tym i applied to shell, i used a diffrent account. and its not up to a year since i did that application. so do i say yes or no to the question i am being asked in dis new application?

@Jayney if you answer yes, you'll be logged out automatically and you wont be able to log in again even with a new email. It is not only your username the site recognises, it also recognises your three names. So guy you'd still have to wait for another year. Good luck!

@aragon, that's a lie! @Jayne, just say NO to the question inquiring whether you've applied to shell before, okay. That was what I did. To me, the site only recognizes email address when searching because I too applied for a position less than a year ago; using a different email address enabled me to successfully complete my application.

please did anybody upload a transcript as they demanded?if no wat else did you upload .

whom ever that is still applying must make sure its CV is not more than pages that is the first criteria for screening, and if you are a batch C corper no show for you, you have to wait for next year, wish you all the best.

@xcality, how many pages maximum should the CV be? Please reply 'cos you omitted the info in your last post. Thank you.

@donivaid your CV is made to be either 1page or 2pages, that is the first step before they will now assess how you were able to fill the application form.
from the comment am reading on this particular topic alot of people may not be called for the test, cos they never took time to read and understand the processes of the application, while some are doing wrong applications.
@adagirl who ask you to upload transcript? you are only made to upload your CV.
I advice you go back to shell site www.shellnigeria.com click on the jobseeker and click on student and graduate, then click on SHELL RECRUITMENT DAY (SRD) read the procedures before you apply.

you are the one that should go and read,if you submitted your CV u will know that they suggested u add anything apart from your CV and they made mention of transcript

@donivald,i'm a batch c corps member and i mistakenly submitted the application when i had not filled all my job experience and qualities....pls is there a way i can still access my application so as to fill the rest of my experience.....also,i applied for SRD and i would like to apply for SITP too but don't u think that using another e-mail address might be a double application and may disqualify me

all,i ve done my own, but dont let me deceive u, d Application is stressful,but u need 2 b patient.there are many questions u will answer,but just take ur tyme wit d Application,u will definately get to d final stage,then u will submit.Note:after submitting, u will be told dat u ve sucessfully Apply.best of luck

@dcutey, SRD is the same thing as SITP. In fact, SRD is the term used to describe the Interview session which is organized for the candidates that passed the First stage (i.e the Aptitude Test) of the selection process for SITP. I think you should re-register AFRESH using a different email address. This time around, be more careful when filling it in . In the sections where you'll be asked whether you've completed NYSC or not, just answer 'YES' to that question.
