Due to re-organisation and integration of some of its sector, there is a need to fill the following job openings in strategic areas of this reputable organisation:
GENERAL COUNSEL
Primary Responsibilities:
• Implementing the legal function for Siemens Nigeria and providing legal support for commercial transactions in the industry.
• Advising on all corporate and HR matters
• Cooperating with local compliance officers
• Leading and managing efficient cross-border legal advice
• Anticipating and responding to legal risks by implementation of risk mitigation procedures.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years successful experience at a major law firm or in the legal department of a large industrial company.
• Excellent academic record; broad legal experience; bar admission
• Specific knowledge and experience in contract drafting and strong negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership success, strong communication and decision making skills; highly motivated team player; analytical, professional, proactive; intercultural skills
SALES/MARKETING ENGINEERS
(Industry Automation and Drives)
Qualification
B.Eng/Bsc or Equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (min. 2nd class upper)
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years post NYSC relevant experience
• Must have demonstrable strong technical knowledge of Automation systems and drives technology (preferentially Siemens)
• Conversant with system solutions for the industry
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Must possess good sales and marketing skills
• Must possess excellent communication skills
Key Tasks
• Co-ordination of assigned sales activities
• Identify opportunities for sales increases
• Preparation of tenders and offers for customers
• Build and maintain business relationship with customers.
COMMERCIAL AND CONTROLLING OFFICER
QUALIFICATION
BSc or HND (min 2nd class upper)
Key Tasks
• Minimum 2 years post NYSC experience
• Assist in cost centre planning, budgeting/controlling
• Perform monthly/ quarterly/ year end closing
• Assists in calculations and preparation of reports
• Prepare and administer all commercial documentation
• Perform miscellaneous commercial/ administrative tasks
