Topic: Shell Shortlists(Thats what my applications status states)

I applied on the 28. My application status says " Application received ". Might be they are doing in batches

Mine says 'Regretted'.Pls,does anyone know what that means?

i just checked my status and it reads" Application under review". I guess that means i should keep my fingers crossed.

If your application status says shortlisted it means you have made it to the next stage of the recruitment process.

If your says regretted it simply means you did not make it.

If yours says under review it simply means they are currently reviewing your application so this is the time intense prayers is required on your part.

If yours says received it means your application as not been review yet by the recruitment personnel.

If yours says new application it means you've just submitted your application.

coolguy, honestly u are the best... u ve jst answered the very Question that made me put up the thread, cos no one has been able to answer me. In any case, whats the next stage. For the regretted: sorry u can't apply anymore until 12months after. It's wat was stated on their application site.
@coolguy so wat do we start doing now Reading for aptitude?? or wats the next stage of the recruitment process??

i may not be able to help u. But i am clear on the internship thing. Did u choose internship or that s wat u want. Received is explained in 2posts b4 urs

pls somebody help me, i got a text from shell asking me to registeronline, i av been trying to register it keeps saying email id already in use and i av tried serverlly wit other email yet to no avail

well I can tell how excited you are but I must be candid with you.

you are quite wrong when you said nobody was unable to answer your questions.Is just that people had bad experiences with them last time and they are keep everything to their chest.Simply note this you are not the only one who has being shortlisted and many more are bond to follow suit in the next couple of weeks.I will advise to start studying for the test it is normally by SHL.

But it could be interview I am not saying this emphatically because I am not Shell.

I will strongly advise you to take each stage as they come with a grain of salt.Shell recruitment process is a very long one lasting up to a year in most cases.Normally the next stage is Test which is normally via the computer.
