Shell has started shortlisting. I checked my Application status last week and it says "Application received". But i checked it today and it says "Shortlisted". Guys what next???

Cant count how many times i've been checking my status. just wanted to do it routinely until i see 'Shortlisted'.

My status indicates I've been shortlisted, but I have not recieved IV for the test. Is it because I used a UK address?

Obviously, it's becoz u r in the UK but there's no cause for alarm coz i can assure you that you are not alone. There are two possibilities here:
1) Shell will either conduct a similar aptitude tests in the UK for Nigerians or
2) You get a telephone interview. The problem with the telephone interview is when a Foreign staff conducts it.
Hope you know you can also edit your current address from 'EDIT MY PERSONAL DETAILS' perhaps that may allow them include you in this current test because it's still 2 weeks away.
Any which way, just be assured that you'll be contacted soon, if not, you won't have been shortlisted in the first instance.

Hey guyies, I applied on the ist of April and my status has been reading "received" since then and now they are calling for test. Is their anybody in my category? If yes, whats the way out?

i think all should jst start preparing with their SHL materials and lay their hands on a GMAT book.... if u are shortlisted u 'd definitely receive ur invite

kindly help us with the Names/phone number (if any) and test venue as contained in your letters. so that we can alert them (Shell) in case of any delay with our own IV's

It doesn't have to be Shell. I'm not crazy about Shell but about one of the other major IOC. I know I'll soon get there even if it's as an experience hand.

Oga, look through the thread... this one in particular has people Effusively celebrating at just being "shortlisted". Anyway, it's the Nigerian factor. SHELL=OIL MONEY=PLENTY MONEY.
I beleive in giving thanks to God. And yes, i'm a living testimony of getting exactly what i want. what will i get by hating? everybody uses an alias in this forum, so whom do i know?

@mikky- i think u re overblotting d whole vibe thingy.... Ppl re excited yes, but wat do u expect from someone who's searching for a good paying job. But i stand to correct u on some few erroneous comments u made.... If it was guiness or dangote ppl will still discuss it and be excited. Even Chams dt is not near any of this was discussed for a long while. I think d building blocks of this house is born out of helping ppl and disseminating info in a quick and fast manner.... This hwz must ve helped a lot nigerian graduates tho only a few admit it... Lemme tell u naijahotjobs is hot on d lips of everyone out there looking for a job, and u know why? hey sexyme, relax.... i think there is a new thread for those at the PH centre... so if u were shortlisted i suggest u relax, it is only a matter of time... for those at the PH Centre, theirs is slated for 18th .... so i think there s a plan out there for the rest of u guys
