@house, I was wit one of d shell's staff on Saturday at wedding ceremony. She told me that application 4 d LOCAL OPPORTUNITIES has closed. But ppl dat applied ealier might still be shortlisted if their status read APPLICATION RECEIVED. Thou preference may be given to DELTA, RIVERS AND BAYELSA but I'm not from these states and I've bin SHORTL ISTED. I hope dis info help. Goodluck to d hopeful!
@house, I applied for internship on 23/03/10, but till now my application status reads application under review. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem?

I applied for local oppotunities via Shell Recruitment day. I really don't know about internship.
May be you should check their website and contact them perhaps you could get assistance.

Just navigate the site the way you navigated to apply, login your account, click on CHECK STATUS and your application status. Or better stilkl click on the link below

Login your pasword and user ID, once you are logged in , click, CHECK STATUS.

Internship is different from this one
my own understanding of internship, "is a training program for people still in school, i think others refer to it as industral training program IT " Shell definition could be different.
if my definition is right, applying for intership should not prevent You from applying for any other on going opportunity
I applied since 31st march though I selected internship as my route,and since april 2nd to this moment my application status still reads "application received".since most of you guys selected shell recruitment day as ur route would I be considered too.Ufuoma,Kau and others please help me out
i also applied but my status reads "regretted". anybody knows what that means?
