Shell Shorlisted candidates witout Invitation (Feedbacks)

Three of my friends in the categories of 'Shell shorlisted candidates witout invitation' have been sucessful in taking the shell test in PH center, Presidential Hotel.
Im also in the category and i'll be there on 12th may with my credentials to partake in the exams... Wat cld be worse than waiting in doubt. Im taking shell by the horn this time and if u are wit me, jst be there.
I'll get back to y'all to break the silence and suspense. This is a copy of the mail sent, so make sure u bring ur credentials.

Further to your application for a Technical
Graduate position, we wish
to invite you to a Selection Test on Friday
13th May 2011 at 0700hrs.
The test will take place at Hotel Presidential
(Atlantic Hall) along Aba
Express Road. Port Harcourt.
On the day of the test, please bring with
you the originals and
photocopies of the following documents
(failure to do so will make you
ineligible to sit for the tests):
- Degree certificate(s)
- WASC/G.C.E/SSCE certificate (five credits in
not more
than two sittings - Maths, English,
Physics and Chemistry inclusive)
- NYSC Discharge Certificate
- Birth certificate (Government registered)
or Age
Declaration
- Change of name (where applicable)
- Valid identification card
Please also bring an electronic calculator,
pencils, eraser, and a copy
of this letter.
Mobile phones and other personal items
that can cause distraction during
the tests will not be accepted into the test
rooms.
You will need to make your own travel
arrangements to and from the venue
and you will be reimbursed based on our
rates. For overseas candidates,
reimbursement will only be based on travel
within Nigeria.

how is it possible that the three of your friends wrote the test on the 11th when today is the 10th and the test in PH starts on the 11th.............abi did I wake a day behind.............

please lets not misinform others as the "cost of the risk" varies between individuals.......

People are using the delay we are experiencing to torture our minds. As for me, i was not the one who shortlisted myself, the God who did it can even give me the shell job without a test. I refuse to allow any individual or group to frustrate my faith in Jehovah.

@malquisoft l dont understand ds whole jerk.l hope ur not tryn to mislead the house n subject us to frustrating pressure.coz am replying right now from SITP Office shell ph. Based on info obtained from the horse mouth,the test is strictly subject to iV. I was askd to go n prepare for test while l wait for the definite iV coz it comes in batches. So l urge the house to wait upon the lord who shortlisted us, definitely our iVs wil not pass us by. Plz make we relax.

naija_series...............thanks for the info............but just to be clear, did you apply as a technical graduate or commercial graduate...............cos the current test are for technical graduates and that is the bone of contention...............

and please Malquisoft when posting threads, blogs or anything newsworthy, let's do without personal details like mailing address, emails and the likes, as it could be very impersonating, implicating and unprofessional........

also check the dates you posted earlier, they seem to be conflicting; your friends must really be very connected to have written the tests a day before the scheduled date! wooooow am impressed......!

your information is giving a false hope, alarm and undue hyper-stress!, i may understand your urge and desire to want to post something relative to this discussion but certainly not out of line....please let's confirm all information given to us before dumping them on us....

Plz house i applied for an internship. My status stil reads 'shortlisted' bt i hvnt got any iv. I wil wait upon d Lord.

l applied as a commercial graduate,besides l was told by a cousin who works in shell yesterday before l travelld to ph ds morning for conformation,that the test is meant for only technical graduates for now.The instruction this morning is *go and prepare for the exam we will definitely invite you* period.

This means that the problems still persists...............the issue here is really for the TECHNICAL GRADUATES not the commerical graduates...............this means our fears still persists................guys if you can go to the venue pls do...............thats the only option now...........

tanx for the advice broda, i didnt get my friends statement correctly and was too in haste to publish it. They actuall meant attending the exams today. tanx for evry comments cos u av help clarify other peeps wit you more reliable information. God help us all. Amen

@naija_series: could u help us confirm if they would still send IV for Technical graduates or they are done with that.

please bro,can u help us ask if they will stil send out invites for technical graduates after dis wk?cus there are stil a lot of us shortlisted witout any invitation.

Please house,the connected ones with relevant infor on whether shell will still call for technical graduates,should tell us when.Because my status says shortlisted,but i didn't get no IV.We re all connected by his Grace.

@ajik 2010 i was asked to go and expect the IV later. Applicants are much there4 IVs wil come in batches be it technical or commercials.

o boy Malquisoft, or whatever you call yourself. Stop tellin bitter lies to the house , i was opportuned to go to the Port Harcourt test centre for shell today. But the security was on the tight side, they really stated that without any iV , just forget about the whole shell stuff..... i tried meetin at least 3 shell officials except the lady, But all were so blunt about the issue of being shortlisted without IV , and as a result those without IV at the Presidential hotel centre in PH wrote... So i don,t know where the hell you got your info from. I just spent my flight for nothing.... i am still planning to check on the Lady if anything can be done. If Nothing then we wil call it a Day for shell... IT seems that corruption has also affected shell system that things are now going the way there are, there were never like this 2 years ago. It was a reputable company but now it has been affected by the virus in Nigeria commonly called corruption.. May the almighty GOD help us

i mean that none of the shortlisted without iv wrote the shell exam at the Port harcourt centre, Presidential

one of the ladies at shell presidential said that those with "shorlisted but not invited" condition will be invited for supplementary tests IF they do not get the required quota from this set writing now. One thing is for sure though, none of them know exactly what criteria was used in sending out the invites.
on a lighter side however, the "JOHNSON" was also there and at one time said something about those from niger-delta that met the requirements but not invited might be allowed to write. however he disappeared and never came back.

today is 12th, my status still reads shortlisted and i guess the test is taking place now in port harcourt. what are my to do, cos i have got no invitation yet? please some one should console me with a suitable feedback.

Everything is just too hazy 4 me right now. I've just decided 2 wait upon d Lord. He knows best cos I know that my being shortlisted is not gonna end up being flushed down d toilet.

Some pple got IV for 18th yesterday, just be patient. It's in batches, we will get ours soon.

Tank God for the hope restored due to the test notificatn on the 18th to our troubled hearts. Lets jst continue preparing hard for the test.

i have been invited for the test on the 18th wed in PH. I will be finishing NYSC by June 18th,and it said in the letter that I should bring my Discharge certificate. I stay in Lagos,someone should pls advice me. thanxs

its like this round of IVs is for candidates finishing NYSC in june........cos its like all the people known to me that were invited are still serving..........is there any1 not in this category that was invited
