@house,dis is very urgent.one of my peeps instructn page 4 her numeric says she has less than 10mins 4 her 16 questn.wat should she do? Thought everyone has 18mins 4 16questns.

Guys! i need ur sincere advice here. I studied elect/elect but have been in the ICT sector for close to 3yrs now(right from NYSC), i heard Shell doesn't recruit Engineering Graduates for entry level positions in IT as the dept is categorized under "commercial". They rather take Computers sci and info-tech guys. Do u guys think i should still go on to apply for the commercial position having known they might not want Engineering guys there or would it make sense to choose Technical and select ITin the end? I have gathered substantial ICT experience and obtained a couple of certifications, so i might not want to swap career.
@ ehis, the first stage is like personality test. Your answers must not contradict each other becos there are repitition in the questions. If u are a team player, let it goes all through in dat form. Second stage is numerical like charts, table pie chart questions(16) for 18 mins.

@kainos k,i just got some info that some other guy had 4min 15 seconds as the time to answer 16questns. He has not applied in the last 12 month&wants a technical role.what is shell up to?unequal opportunities.

@the big deal. Before i commenced d numerical reasoning, i also saw 4min 15sec. But on commencing, it was 16 min. d maths hard pass shl by far. no tym o. just look for the questions dat u can solve at faster pace. dat was wat i did. i am sure of 7 questions. the remaining ones i guessed. no time.
But do very well in d decision making part. dat wil give u an edge.
From my experience, if it helps, I think shell considers %accuracy to be a big deal. #IcouldBeWrong
From my opinion the no. Of correct answers and %accuracy all factor into the grading
For those of you that have taken the numerical reasoning test, I wanna know if its similar to the new shl-type questions(that's if u've tried them b4)...your response will be highly appreciated
