Yes. My application status changed from application recieved to regretted. They they then sent me a mail telling me they have reviewed my application and it does not match their requirement. I guess the vacancy is for geologists and am an industrial engineer.

Hmmm. Maybe you didn't fill it in correctly, I wouldn't know. You should re-apply and see.

Maybe i didn't get the opportunity, don't knw. Whatz ur opinon pals??

Am very sorry for the mail, maybe you don't hv 2:1 or a master degree, or you are a commercial graduate. Bcos last year they found it difficult to invite all shortlisted candidates, and the 2:2 guys wthout masters were never invited, they felt so bad and most of them that hv insider started disturbing HR. So I guess they r trying to avoid such scenerio to occur again. But i stand to be corrected.

@wealthtank, how many days from the date u applied did it take shell to send u that refusal? What did u study and did u make a 2:1 min.? Have u applied to shell b4? I just want to figure out the cause of the refusal.
