The additional information section is normally used for you to write a personal statement - really sell yourself to them! You need to write why you want the job, why you want to work for that company (if not already stated elsewhere). You need to look at the job description and write about what skills they require that you have achieved in previous training or employment. Nevertheless, be sure to tailor your application according to the 4 main competencies they are looking for i.e. [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important][/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR]capacity, achievement, relationship and technical skills. Maybe also write about your future plans and any life skills you can bring to the job.
The Shell (atleast in the UK) graduate recruitment team are really keen as well on graduates with awards, scholarships etc, which is why they advice to have this in your CV / resume - see the link below:

Some graduates can not take simple instruction and that's why most people fail. I have to be a little harsh here. Mind you your job assessments start from you reading and adhering to instructions. The clear instructions on how to get the materials are there for all of us not some as long as you wish to get it. Well, I think those people posting their email addresses did not see the post where Triple C mentioned that email addresses should not be posted in this thread. This could be because most people access NHJ from a mobile device and, as on my own, most mobile devices display threads here on NHJ in several pages starting from the very last page and not many people have the time and energy to go and start reading a thread right from the very first post up till the last. So, I think we should pardon the "offenders". Furthermore, someone could volunteer to put up a notice on every new page to inform the board that email addresses should be posted to Triple C's inbox and not in this thread.

I advice you to ignore that one and use another email to register and apply. But it also depends on your course, because I don't think they called commercial grads last year (so if you are a commercial grad just be patient).Quote:

I applied for the SRD last year for HSSE and i was among those that their application went from shortlisted to application received then to application under review. This is more than one year now and i tried applying again, but got this response displayed
"It appears that you may still have an active application being processed for an existing Shell career opportunity. If you have not been advised that you have been unsuccessful for this previous application, your application may still be active. If you have been advised your previous application has been unsuccessful, and believe this application should no longer be active, please contact our recruitment team for assistance." Pls wat do i do? a quick response will help.
