Just to ease the bloated conception of the difficulty of the spatial reasoning, I would like to say that in my opinion it is not difficult but tricky. I happened to attend SRD sometime ago and spatial reasoning wasnt actually the most difficult part of the test. however, u need a complete understanding, mental composure, and a good memory of figures as they change forms in ur head. if u dont get any practise questions, a simple exercise of picturing a figure and rotating and reflecting it (in various combinations) will help immensely.

Dear CANDIDATE,
Further to your application for a Technical Graduate position, we wish to invite you to a Selection Test on 22nd May 2012 at 1. 00 pm. The test will take place at Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos.
On the day of the test, please bring with you the original copies of the following documents (failure to do so will make you ineligible to sit for the tests):
- Degree certificate(s)
- WASC/G.C.E/SSCE certificate (five credits in not more than two sittings - Maths, English,
Physics andChemistry inclusive)
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or NYSC ID card for those still serving
- Birth certificate (Government registered) or Age Declaration
- Change of name (where applicable)
- Valid identification card
Please also bring pencils, eraser, and a copy of this letter.
Mobile phones and other personal items like bags and laptops that can cause distraction during the tests will not be accepted into the test rooms.
You will need to make your own travel arrangements to and from the venue and you will be reimbursed based on our rates.

I have lost the originals of my BSc and NYSC certificates but I have certified copies of them. Does anyone know of people who were allowed to write previous tests with certified photocopies? What do you suggest I do?

What do you think we shuld expect, going by the fact that they didn't specify the format (SHL) or otherwise. It is well!

@kingfisher, yeah; last year we were allowed 2 use calculators, which were given to us by SHELL. To be on d safe side,practise without a calculator.

Please shell has started sending messages to qualified candidates for the selection test.I received mine and will like anyone with experience writing their tests to give me a clue as to what to expect.I av been studying using the GMAT and not sure if it'll be enough for me.Thanks in advance

I check my status on friday and it states shortlisted, on checking this morning it states regretted, can uk guys shortlisted earlier confirm their status? cheers

Shell test starts from 28th May. Check ur email everyone. First batch letters have been dispersed. Goodluck all.
