@ctrl07: There are people who wrote the aptitude test last year but did not make it to SRD are they exempted from this rule?
Thizs402: I'm not Shell o. I only made a deduction from the happening reported by goodest.
Has anybody who wrote the aptitude test last year and didn't make it to SRD done this year's SRD. Please this is important!!!!
Srd people for 26th in ph pls is it stil holdin. I'm in ph already
@this402, kindly go for your assessment with no fear, the rule only binds those that have attended SRD before. The rule binding those that wrote the test is that they can't re-apply until after 12 months....
Let me throw some perspective here. I did my SRD sometime last week in ph and we were categorically told, Shell has changed their format for medical invitation. Using an example: "If the 9 of you who are doing SRD today all pass, by next week (2 weeks that is) you all will be invited for medicals. We do not want to wait till the end of everything before inviting people for medicals. But note an invitation for medicals is not an offer letter. If the 9 of you do the medicals and there are currently 5 slots for offers, the top 5 from your SRD performance will be given offer letters to resume by December 3rd, the other 4 will be on a waiting list and as soon as a slot opens will be contacted (again according to performance). So if we invite you for medicals don't rush to your church and start doing thanksgiving that you have got a job...etc"
Na paraphrase I paraphrase o. So if you are waiting for the entire process to finish before you get an iv for medicals, you are on a long thing. I am not saying they can not be exceptions though. Just saying what we were told. I think that is why guys with similar disciplines are grouped together for the SRD so they can send invites for medicals and even ready offer letters for Geologist without waiting for Mechanical engineers to finish.
So it is safe to say, if someone from your batch has been invited for medicals and not you, well...e be like say e don be be that o.
Good luck to us all. Meanwhile, me dey count my two weeks...
@makeway, this is exactly what my last post says. Some never believed.
@makeway2029 whats your course of study? Well diff stories. My guy dat asked. They told him that they will wait till the end of d exercise. Do u know of any chem engr receiving invites?
@Hafeezyks: sorry about d sudden postponement. How were u now able to resolve it, and wat date were u now rescheduled to hav ur SRD? @EUCB, and @MAKEWAY: I get ur stand.
Makeway...If you've done medicals its better you go to church and thank God.
Its the only logical thing to do..
