hi all, are there any geologist in the house? has anyone received news?
Hey triple-C, do you know if SRD extends into November? I have been invited for an interview, but won't be in the country until November. Do you think I should send them a mail asking for reschedule, or should just make every attempt to be there? Would appreciate a reply.
hi all, are there any geologist in the house? has anyone received news?
I got the text too but no e-mail yet. Hope this is no cause for concern cause the text says check the e-mail sent and I have not received any e-mail. Just saying this so that one can adequately prepare. Also this one they are saying one has to send a confirmation et al. House please help o, m fretting already. Got the sms yesternite.
Brother in my sincere opinion, make an effort to be there...the tone of the mail this year is sort of different, and bearing in mind that there are people who still have open applications from last year...and some interns inclusive, all waiting to resume, shell sure will jump at any excuse to stop all correspondences...may it not be us
Please do them a mail, telling them you will be available then you can make a polite request for a re-schedule, but do not forget to close with an affirmative statement that you are in for the SRD.
U r not alone bro, i know some peeps who are also outta d country and are hoping for the best with the scheduling and re-scheduling thing, all d best bro...we will keep on keeping on
alexie: the first person to share news of SRD IV was a geologist. His date, if I remember clearly, is 3rd Oct.
Steely and storckTL87: what are your disciplines?
who are we supposed to send the presentation title and summary to? how do we get the contact of our specific SRD coordinator? when will they send the "company background info" for the case study as promised? this stuff is just getting unnecessarily complicated...
Hey all..... I dunno but the sound of the SRD feels kinda different this year. Attended 2 yrs ago and something just feels different this time around. For one thing it seems they're saying that if you don't have at least a master's project to present then u must do a technical interview instead. Is that right or am i getting it twisted? All the best sha......
@opestar, how was ur Srd? Were u kindly able to ask Johnson or other HR guys d question abt those waiting for medicals? Thanks.
For those that read between the lines, I got exactly the same message.
If you are applying for a technical role and have experience of conducting independent and original research or technical project work (for example PhD or MSc thesis work, or internship experience), you will need to give a technical presentation. If you are applying for a technical role and do not have this experience, you will complete a technical interview instead.
in both instances YOU WILL was used, which is quite affirmative.
As regards Spatial's request, prior to receiving the sms I was contacted by shell hr in ph, and I asked the same question, the lady said I shd send the title and summary to Mr Isiavwe.
Hope this helps. Gngt
house pls must your technical interview topic be oil and gas related![]()
