what's the next step after being shortlisted? Email invitation ?

This evening, I found three of my classmates apparently celebrating with some bottles of beer and the following conversation took place:

Me: Guys, this is mid-week, what are u guys doing in a bar?
Three of them chorused: As you can see we are celebrating, Shell has shortlisted us!
Me: (Laughs) . . . Well, Shell will probably shortlist over 10,000 candidates and will not take up to 50. I really think this is not a time for celebrations.
1st guy: well, they have not shortlisted me before, besides no one will tell me when to celebrate in my own life. haba!
2nd guy: I heard the questions are available at high fees here in Lagos and also PH, this year I will spend my last card to get those silly questions of theirs and make sure I solve them over and over. I know by now the papers go don dey roll out shaa.
3rd guy: I dey use tactics for Shell . . . I stay here in Lagos but each year I will use the address of where I served in Gusau (Zamfara State) to fill their application. That way they will give me over 10,000 naira for T-fare and I go take bike go-come . . . that money dey feed me 4 one month o! But we go follow Vico (i.e. the 2nd guy) for him runs shaa. That is particularly why I am celebrating.
Me: hmmm . . . una get serious plans o!
