we must also consider the possibility that over 1-million pple fit don apply too o...

The fact is lets do our best, prepare and never lose focus. I strongly believe many will be recruited into SHELL. A source that copy me said they need 500 each from Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta. But that is quite different from the SITP 2010 that is going on now. However let just keep anticipating as events unfold. God will never forsake his people.

I wonder where you guys heard about Shell employing 500 people. You guys appear to be exxagerating what was said in the vaguely circulated email. I got that email too and it stated as below:

The criteria would be as follows:

1. Rivers State graduates that graduated from the University between 2005-2009 and are assumed to have completed NYSC.

2. Minimum qualification for first degree: 2.2 and above

3. Disciplines of Interest: Engineering: Petroleum/Gas, Chemical, Civil, Electrical/Electron ics, Mechanical, Metallurgical & Materials

Geoscience:Geology, Geophysics

4. MSc degree holders are also acceptable if they satisfy the above criteria

5.An excel sheet with the following information will be appreciated:

Name, state of origin, university, course. class of degree, year of graduation

6. In the absence of an electronic list which is our prefered option, please ask your contact to send the physical cv after they may have done the screening based on the above criteria.

7. At least 500 cv will do for each of the three States: Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta.

8. Can we work towards having the excel sheet by CoB March 19th?

We do really appreciate you help and would contact you should there be other areas we think you or your team can be of value to Shell Recrutment.

It's 500 CVs that was mentioned and not 500 employees.

All the same, let's concentrate on scaling thru the test and think less about number of intakes.

house, I am sorry for my earlier corroborative post.

I went back to my mail, and i saw something else.
it was actually 500 CV's from each of the three states and not..... 500 JOBS
{maybe the test was initially proposed for 500 times 3 (1500) applicants}
