Shell calling for SRD

please how many pages do u recomend for the technical presentation

I will advise a technical interview cos trust me you can't do a presentation that can impress shell. No matter what you think you can present. Advise from experience

Please is it optional to choose between presentation or interview.

These Shell people sef.. i learnt they always put you up against people posessing 20 years+ experience. Na God go help us. Last year several people went for SRD and lost out along the way. God will be our strength. For those who havent got invitation.. My advice.. 3 days fasting and i got my own immediately to my own astonishment but i was fasting for DPR but got shell IV. i forgot about them already. Just Believe. It is Possible.

petroleum engineers did on yesterday in warri and i think there is a set that ought to do theirs in ph sometime in july

Please, should d print-out of the presentation be the same with wat we would have on the powerpoint slides? Or the main document would be printed n submited while the powerpoint slides would just be used by d candidate while presenting? I'm confused.

B. ENG Mechanical Engineering is my highest qualification

did any1 receive a phone call from any of shell reps asking to confirm course studied and grade

Shell is calling based on courses and degree so that similar people can be interviewed by a set of professional after which another set comes in. For those not called ask around if people with similar course and degree have been called to know your prospects, srd may continue into july

Also note that the date you wrote your test is irrelevant you are invited based on course, degree and score.

The print out will be what u have on power point make it simple and stupid.. Goodluck

all the best to those who have been invited so far.......mechanical engrs, petroleum engrs, elect-elect engr, civil engrs. I heard SRD will last for 3 weeks (don't know if it is everyday) in two venues - warri and lagos. Just be urself and pray for mercy and favour.

yeah I know of petroleum engrs that have done their SRD on june 21st in lag and warri

resulst will be out in 2months

2months?? I was told 3-4 weeks o..n I was told dat about 5days ago.

@jaybey: i think engr. is referring to the results from the SRD, not the SRD exercise itself!

the positive results take about 2 months after SRD before it is communicated to the successful ones, but the negative results come out within 2-3 weeks. So you should just kip praying to have the positive results. Goodluck!

Last year, successful mails were sent the same time rejection mails were sent.. So both mails are usually sent at the same time.. Last year it was towards end of august.
