congrats babestell, as per ur question, Promotion is based majorly on performance. You can go into the company and in 2 years be on a higher level than someone who entered 3yrs b4 u if ur performance is better.

Is Shell through with their recruitment this year? Please anyone with useful info should inform the house. What happen to all the hopefuls who had not been invited for medicals yet?

@Kessy2011, nobody knows what is happening with regards to those of us still expecting medical invite. No rejection mail, no invitation for medical and moreso no success mail to show that we were successful at the SRD. The whole thing is becoming very funny. If they dont have space for us now then they should send us success mail at SRD. I pray seriously that our case will not be forgetten, IJN.

I finally got through to shell hr and i‘ll quote xactly wat i was told “ we hv maild all those who were unsuccessful at d SRD. We hv also maild those who were successful and for whom vacancies currently exist. You hv nt bn maild bcos we hv no mail 4 u.“ The question 4 me is whether ds hs bn d trend in prev yrs. It is well!!

Hello House,
From the above statement from catalyst2011, it is very clear that we were successful at SRD but no vacancy currently exist for us to be called for medical test. Hence the only option we have now is continuous prayers. But Shell should just try and send us success mail and tell us how long the waiting will be.

I believe the response you got from HR was a "guy free me and have patience" response. There is still room for hope!!!! Nov1 is the resumption date, i'd say just be patient.... Ps...i am not an insider neither do i av any info to back this up, i just choose to hope against hope!!!

I called one of the Hr woman that interviewed me during my srd,i saved her no. when she called me to describe the location for me cos i lost my way that day,and she told me that the medical invitation is an ongoing process that i should call Johnson they guy that has been sending us E-mails,but she refused to give me his no.that his number is at the bottom of our srd invitation mail.I checked the mail but i couldn't find it.Pls anyone with the no. should help so that we can call him to know our status.

@Hamma12. I was not the one that called Shell HR but Catalyst2011. So i think that question should be directed to him. Thanks.
