Responsibilities
"- Provide technical expertise, procedures, and technical review and support capabilities in the area of project engineering to the Project Teams with focus on electrical and Fibre Optics Cable design and installation scope.
- To participate in the execution of the EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct) contract for the Project; This includes responsibility for the provision of project engineering input, resource and support towards the completion, with minimum supervision of the following activities: Projects’ Initial Execution Strategies; Projects’ Basis for Design engineering reports; Projects’ Execution Phase Resource Plans; Projects’ risks, interfaces and issues management strategies; Tie-in of the projects to the Asset team ARP.
- Provide technical support, and technical review capabilities in the area of facilities and project engineering to further check that the Projects’ designs conform to SPDC facility standard designs and the SPDC standard construction specifications.
- To provide/co-ordinate responses to Contractors’ technical queries on electrical and fibre optics from the project detail design to hand-over phases;"

Requirements
"• B.Sc. level or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in electrical electronics/instrumentationIT of which not less than 2years is in fibre optics cable design and installation.

Certifications in information technology would be an advantage."
