Job Title: Senior Completions Engineer
Location: Lagos


Responsibilities:

  • To co-ordinate, direct and review completion and work-over operations, within defined drilling programmes and budget, in order to fully meet the prognosis target, pursuing the best results in terms of safety, time and cost effectiveness.
  • To ensure completion and work-over operations activities comply with time and cost budget, in accordance with Company requirements, HSEQ standards and good petroleum engineering practices.
  • To evaluate the need for services equipment and material and to provide for the issuing of their request.
  • To coordinate the activities of the Company's and Contractor's units involved in completion and work-over operations and decide about day by day matters.
  • Supervises coiled tubing operations, snubbing operations, fishing operations, well control, unconventional completions, slick line operations and fracture stimulation.



Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any Engineering degree (minimum of second class upper degree).
  • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum eight ( years cognate experience and knowledge in well completions design and execution (onshore and offshore/deepwater environments) using available technology tools.
  • Must be proficient in the use of applicable software.
  • Must not be over 35 years of age.
