Job Position: Senior Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the senior architect is technically responsible for architectural designs, their correctness and on-time delivery. The position requires thorough knowledge of (international) architectural design techniques.

The main mission of the position is to perform and supervise architectural designs and to control layout and shop drawings while performing the role of project manager from time to time.


RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
*Architectural plans, design and layout.

*Supervision of construction projects
*Architectural calculations and project specifications.
*Layout and shop drawings.
*Supervision of a team of architects and their works
*Drawing up cost estimates for the architectural portion of projects.

*Project Management


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must hold a bachelor or higher degree in architecture or in a discipline related to it.
*Has 7-10 years of experience in architecture, design works and Construction.
*Is a self-starter with creativity and an aptitude to problem solving, can work independently and as a friendly leader in a team and demonstrates excellent professionalism.

*Vast experience with high rise buildings.

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Is preferably registered as architect with ARCON.
*Proven experience with AutoCAD and other common software in architectural design.
