I got an email invitation from Scnl local content([email protected]).
That i have been nominated for an interview for a program with saipem contracting nigeria limited on Bonga North west project. That the training wil include: Class room courses, 12 months on job training within the project organization, Globally recognized certification.
Venue-saipem contracting nigeria limited, Rumuolumeni Port Harcourt.
Date-friday 13 may 2011. Time is 10am.
I cant remember when i applied for such.
well u aint gat nothin 2 lose. Since na Saipem, somthin lik dis was held last year too. So jst giv it a shot.
it actually mite b legit since d venue is saipem office. did u do any agip stuff? cos i tink saipem is under agip

I wrote saipem test some time last year but was not call for further interview.
I dont know if this invitation is link to that of last year.

i dont think they have started applyin this year.last year it was arnd may/june.so hopefully they might soon start.
I went for the interview on friday at saipem yard. We were received by a scottish man,we were only 6 guys that was invited for the interview,and we were ask to choose one disciple either HSE or quality assurance engr after which we were interviewed according to the choosen discipline. They told us that We were invited base on the test we wrote last year. They said the training is not a guarantee that saipem wil employ us at the end of the one year training in lagos.
I started with saipem a week ago on the OCR project with chevron and i can confidently tell u that these guys are jokers. Their HR department is ridiculous and the Italians are exploiters. I dont see myself there for 3 months if things dont improve. For anyone who is planning on going there or in that process please and please let them clarify conditions and contract terms and agreement before you embark on a journey of low pay and poor benefits. Maybe its just the OCR Projector or the fact that ive seen better before now but in my afterlife i wouldnt come close to saipem or eni (in Nigeria) again. #mypersonalopinion
