My only advice for u all crazy bout Schlumberger is that u shdn't get too comfortable in there. It's a great company in terms of training. So get ur training and look for other Oil producing companies to complete ur journey. The reason is very much public knowledge....THERE IS NO JOB SECURITY THERE. Plus the pay is no longer fantastic cos there is now a new pay scheme which is...PAY THE BLOODY NIGERIANS LESS AND THEY'LL STILL WORK. So just check in, sap the knowledge and get the experience and check out. Just make sure u have a better offer first though. :o

yes, i've been there and seen first hand how ppl get tossed out the door with no warning or at the slightest mistake. but like u said, i believe u'll succeed.

Thursday, October 28, 2010 (Lagos)
Time: 8am Prompt
Venue 1: Schlumberger Nigeria Ltd., Plot 2/3 Rumuwoke, Port-
Harcourt/Aba Expressway, Port-Harcourt.
Venue 2: Victoria Island, Lagos (Test Center to be announced later).
You are required to bring along with you the following;
Picture ID e.g Drivers' License or International Passport.
One (1) Colored Passport photograph with your names written clearly at the back, surname underlined.
Writing materials - Pen and pencil etc.
Your Credentials - NYSC discharged certificate, Degree certificate, Birth certificate and a detailed CV.
Note that the use of Calculators is highly prohibited.
Disregard this invitation if you have attended any SLB test session.
You are expected to attend the Test Center nearest to you. Kindly confirm your test location and participation by email.
Print out this mail and bring along with you.

This tests makes it the third for this year. Others are now in the system while the last batch are to resume this month.
Take this test serious cos its ur turn.
The test is very very simple (maths/physics/electrical ccts, mech and english). ther4, high score is ur ticket 2 d interview stages whc is d main thing. b very sure b4 choosin answers and pls.... dnt try joint wrk wit those on ur table cos they wil find out.
