Yeah, someone mentioned about a test slated for 2nd Feb., so those that participated how did it go. Wishing you guys success as we also will love to enjoy your experiences. One love house. United we will stand and divided can be disastrous.
God has done and will do everything He said He would do and more. When things do not happen as soon as we would like them to or when we have waited as long as we think we should or when that break through takes time we can find ourselves in doubt. We get anxious and wonder where God is or if He heard our prayers. All sorts of things enter into our mind and the wait seems endless. We try to be patient, but it seems as if it is taking forever.
We often ask, "When God...When?" Often in my life as I prayed about certain things I have felt so anxious, even impatient at times. Sometimes to the point of saying, "Will this thing ever happen?" Other times asking, "Did I hear God clearly?" "Did I get my signals crossed?"
Then I began to doubt and question what I thought I knew. At other times I tried to work it out myself and just got in God's way. It is hard to be patient and wait, especially in today's world filled with instant gratification. However, we must be like Abraham who had the faith to believe that God would do what He promised. The Bible tells us that Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform (Romans 4: 20-21, KJV.)
I thank GOD for his patience towards humans. So as imitators of GOD been patient will also make his heart rejoice. Though as humans it is never easy to wait. But all I believe is that he will never allow his loyal ones to totter. Most times we may ask questions like the ones my friend MOBILO posted, that wouldn't be bad because we are mere mortal imperfect humans. But GOD understands and he has answers to all our questions. He will certainly grant anyone that asks the peace that excels all thoughts and also help us to patiently wait.

@MOBILO, I find myself in dat situation often times but I try to always remember God's word in Habakkuk 2:3 (For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: THOUGH IT TARRY, WAIT FOR IT; BECAUSE IT WILL SURELY COME....)

Yes oh my guy GZL, We shall certainly share our testimonies here one day. All that I believe is that GOD wants the best for everyone but presently the whole world lying in the power of the wicked one satan the devil makes it seem as if GOD does not care for us. HE certainly does and will change everything for good at his own due time...
By GOD'S grace we shall make it.

Thank GOD for a new week. Hoping for a good news! Hope is very essential to keep us moving. All other virtues may leave you but hope can never abandon you. It stays with you till death. No man can possibly live a second longer without hope. Trust in GOD and in his wonderful promises for he will never fail us.

@willyWilliams, Well from my own end I don't have idea if that has taken place or when it might be. But all I know is that they'll call you base on what you applied for, what you have and what they need at a given time. Mine even came unexpectedly when I was even far away from where I base. So do your best because GOD can do the rest. GOD can work in a way we can't easily comprehend.

@willywilliams, the feb 2nd pre-screening test was the 4th time slb is conducting test in PH since dec last yr & am nt sure they called base on location, jus apply 4 a position on their site & wait prayerfully, u wil b called. @maxweber & all hopefuls, wishin u a blessed week ahead.

@willywilliams, from what drahusfare posted, I can now recall that the day I took mine that some came from Lagos, Kaduna etc. So just be hopeful. But it comes when you don't even expect it.

Hello every1.i believe with faith in GOD that i am successful.But even as the countdown begins to hearing 4rm them,has anyone who sat 4d test on 2/2/2010 in P/Harcourt heard a tip off whether fact or rumour because my friend said his cousin was contacted via phone inviting him 4d interview stage.please house,let anyone confirm the authenticity of this [email protected] have read and followed this thread 4rm ur 1st post.i seems not to understand your stance.have u bn invited 4d interview?if yes,kindly give us a clue about it to serve as guidelines to the hopefuls...success is mine
@osasdiddy, thanks for 'buzzing in'.I Thank GOD too that you've been following this thread from day one. So you can find the answers to your questions within. First of all, how many sat for the test that day and what position were you called for? They addressed you guys that day, right? They are always friendly, atleast telling you guys how many they need.
For the interview? It depends on the position you were called for. So respond so that others could help.
For the friend that told you something? Your response will/might determine something. I'm not posting in parables.

@maxweber, 10ks bro 4 d gud wishes, i wish u d same,notin yet 4rm my end, still hoping, i heard there were abt 64 guys dat wrote d test on feb 2nd, from petroleum, electrical, mechanical, geology dept etc. I heard also dat slb has lots of job dis period so they will b recruitin a gud numba of persons. We were about 60 plus that sat 4d test on 2/2/2010.Though they didn't tell us the number of candidates they intend to employ.But i do believe that they need to up their manpower massively based on news making the rounds that they are keying in to the local content policy as a way of repositioning the coy.

But keep in touch with the guys you sat the tests with. God works in a way that we may not understand as humans. Somebody once posted in this forum that SLB is for the "Big Boys Pikin, no insider no SLB" but I said to myself that I can make it by GOD's grace and in fact, GOD is in control... Hope you've found some tips for interview within.

The person you quoted provided tips that worked. All positions can't be the same. His questions were based on what he heard. Have you been invited? Remember that it depends on your position.

I applied for the post of a field Engr and i'm persuaded that's what i sat for during the pre-screening test.Though i'm yet to receive any reply because it isn't up to 2 wks we did the test,but i do have a positive mental attitude in jesus christ that i am a success.In that case,i wish to begin preparations prior the interview.i kindly implore you to be precise & timely in telling the forum whether or not u hav attended their interview and how was it like.u can ring me on 08067261547.i welcome extra cool
Your spirit is very commendable. Researching takes SLB ahead of its competitors. In this thread you can still find the interview tips for the Field Engineer positions. Most questions you will be asked is from the answers you give them. Oral interviews can't be exactly alike for all candidates for the same position. Please, don't take this thread for granted. How was your test? Can you find a helpful tip in the thread? One of those who sat for the test the same day with you buzzed in and told us that the tips and even some sample questions were helpful to him. So work with somethings you've found out in this thread. Ours was oral interview.

One major tin I wnt 2advise s dt u al must xcise patience.I did dea test & inteview sinz aug 2008.Til nw hvnt resumd wrk wit dem.Al I get from dem s dt am on dea waitin list.Same wit some odas 2.Wen I enquird,ws told dey placd embargo on dea rcruitmnt.Til den hv bin waitin 4dea cal. Anoda tin is dFact dt I bliv dey mite hv cald intaview 4 abt 3-6 ppl out of d 60 dt took dtest.Dey dont select mor dan 8-10 4intaview.& once invitd 4intaview. Its as gud as gotin dJOB. So pls confirm if nobody as bin cald. During my time,only 6 were cald 4intaview out of 120 dt wrote d test. & dey cald 4intaview widin 72hrs. Wishin u al victory.

WHICH ONE IS IF U WRITE SLB TEST, IN 72 HOURS, U WIIL BE CALLED. AM I MISSING SOMETHING.
