Schlumberger Calling 4 Aptitude Test / Interview

pls guy i need to knw how u guys apply for job tru schlumberger.pls any one in the house that can put me tru.i av bn to dere website bt still finds it difficult sending my cv.cos i learnt dey collect cv's anytime.

i wrote there aptitude test on 18th June in ocean-view hotel,but up till now i haven't heard anything from them,at least to know my fate....pls is there anyone in the house having the same issues? is there hope for me? because i didnt get any reply saying i passed or failed the test...nothing up till now.what could be the reason...i need answers friends!

@okoriesunday33 go to www.careers.slb.com, register ur profile, a massage wil b send to d email u used to register to create ur password. After dis to kw more abt what u want click on (recent or fresh graduate and undergraduate) which dia trainee program, click on engineering. If u are a B.sc graduate go 4 field engineers or maintenance engineers. If u are HND graduate go 4 field specialists or maintenance technicians. 4 any 1 u go 4, as u click on it d page dat appear on u computer, at d right hand coner u c apply 4 job click and 4low d procedure...to drop ur applicatn..

my test is wednesday. But I got no clue what it will be about. Except it's just mathematics, mechanics and electronics test.

Please what do u mean by ur gp shld be based on 9 and not 5?

Means ur gp should between 3.1 to 9.0

GP is always over 5.0 here in Nigeria or u mean converting it to a 9.0 scale. ie if one's GP is 4.4/5.0, then it should be calculated based on the bench mark of 9. which should be (4.5 / 5.0 ) * (9.0). Am i right???

No you are not. You totally wrong, bro. (4.5/5.0)*9.0 simply doesn't factor in all the hard work, term papers, quality teaching, success and failure of each student. An untidy simplification can't give you that!
There is certainly no need to convert any CGPA whatsoever. Put it in as you have it. Only try as much as possible to express it over the maximum GPA possible. That should do it!

Sme1 got an sms on saturday night inviting Him for interview. At least they kept to their words that they'll start responding to those in the HND category effect from that weekend. Like they said for the MSc/BSc it will take a month to several months to get back to them, so fingers crossed.

sms? I tot slb usually calls, then sends an email...

they called and also mailed last week...interview presently holding now in VI

d intaview just finished an hour ago! Twas a great xperience sha... Xpectin a favourable result in a weeks tym!

pls house i want to know something....i wrote the test last year June at ocean-view hotel VI,but since then i haven't heard anything from SLB whether i passed the test or not....i studies electrical and electronics engineering and got a B.ENG....so am wondering what might be the issue..or do they keep silent if you didn't pass the test? i need ur response.....
