Please is anyone invited for pre-screening test of SLB Porthacourt center for 26/10/2011? cos am closer to PH than Lagos

pls past question format guys, lets keep it rollling.

There are four sections, each 30 minutes
1. Mathematics. this aspect is very simple. There are 36 questions. simultaneous equation, indices, resistance in series and parallell, capacitance in series and parallel, ohms law. The same thing with the electrical in the attached file and simple unit conversion

2. Mechanical reasoning. 36 questions in all but they are really simple. study gears, pulley, lever, hydraulics. for instance an hexagonal spanner with long arm will loose a bolt easily than the one with a shorter arm. Find exxon mobil question to practice

3. electrical/electronics. 45 questions. 3-phase transformer connection, meaning of LED - light emitting diode, the three parts of a transistor, capacitance, resistors, electronics logical computation( AND, NAND, OR, i really don't know much).

4. logical reasoning. 36 questions. the format is one. it is symbol analogue abi na pattern series self? i used GMAT 2009 to study and it helps. The format is this:
there is a table consisting of 3 rows 3 columns. Eight boxes is filled with diagrams and you are required to fill the last one. What you need to do is to establish a relationship among the given eight patterns row-wise and column-wise. that all

if you are a geologist and you meet their requirement.....you get invited.

I wrote SLB test on the 18th June 2011 and I have received two invitations for same pre-screening test . I don't really understand what is happening

SLB has recruited twice this yr. my colleague that we went for the interview march 3rd some of them has been taken (HND). They took another set at June/july. if they invite u for a pre screening text go and do ur best. Am very sure they are employing.

Those who wrote today hw was the test? Kindly let us know.....

What is der application form like...cos all I was able to fill is a page where you fill yo name, email, region and school den you update. Is this all you need to apply or der is still another page that you will key in yo other details. Response will be highly appreciated.

Pls guys can anyone be of help, i applied about two months ago, but I didnt recieve any invite for the slb pre-screening test dat just held. What do I do.

Have the faith that you will be called anytime. People are been invited based on their need at a particular time.

@maxweber, pls which category of persons are doing their interview tomorow. I thought test was done yesterday and I don't want to believe its those same peeps for this test that's for tomorow's interview.

In addition your post sounds like some peeps will be doing on other day(s). Pls kindly advise me on that.

They are same peeps (the successful ones/ones they require their services for now). If you wrote the test, hope you were told something at the venue. Of course some maybe doing on other days or next year, it depends on what they want. Just from some people who wrote the test.

Nope. Did my test last year October and was successful. Unfortunately/fortunately no news from them. Just curious on the category of peeps that are presently being interviewed.

slb calls successful interviewees to send their documents for processing. i heard their OFS-1 training is around 15th Dec. in Ghana

I cant believe this, test on wednesday, interview on friday, employed on sunday! Indeed, this is God's doing...

Can you guys that were given offers please specify which segment? and if it is FS or FE?

tuhut did u write d test wednesday and u were offered employment letter on sunday?

it's only FS for now. FE will be first quarter next year.
