av gotten msgs from ppl like, if iz ok 2 gate crash. like i updated b4, M Eng holders can do so, bt 4 bsc/hnd guys, cant b really sure, iz up 2 d lagos candidates 2 giv u tips hw it all went. schlumberher az a bench mark, u meet it, u r gud 4 d interview. best of luck guys n pray hard, rem no group work or u would b sorted out. cheera

I was at lagos venue of d interview 2 gate crash but unfortunatly gate crashers were not allowed in as the officials came wit a list of all d invitees. After calling them in, we were told the sellection was based on some specific qualifications then asked us to go to their site n update our acc. They assured us dat soon they will conduct anoda test.
Hence, I dnt knw hw d test went wit those dat wrote.
SLB test in PH has come and gone, However, Accrreditation startd around 9 am, after which d exam startd @ 11:32. 4me mech., Logic & maths was vry ok aspect elect dat gv me small headache but @ all, it was well packaged. It was a bad day for gate crashers cos they where nt allowed to write d test. I hv already started preparing 4d interview dat wil coming up on 28 feb. All ph invitee, Goodluck 2U all.

Yes d electrical section is kinda tough 4 those with non-electrical background, am wishin all dos dat wrote d test success. GOD is on d throne...
@ lynbaby and Future President: Abeg tell us, is it that a date for the interview was set/ told to u guyz on the test day or a mail was sent to that effect coz we that wrote on the 1/11/2010 are still waiting to be called for interview!. plus, where u guyz for the FE position??!Quote:

@agape001, i neva knew pple still hang on dis Slb issue in dis forum. After d feb test, interview was conducted in PH first & Lagos last. According to what I heard, HND guys were invited from d feb test group with one BSc from last yr Nov test group in PH centre, while in Lag centre HND guys from feb test group were invited from d feb test group with some BSc from last yr Nov test group. So in conclusn, I think dey've not call d sucexful BSc guys in the feb test group. All d BSc guys i contacted den have not been invited even till now. Slb is used to keeping pple waiting. Any body with other info?

I have no idea of what is going on about the february recruitment exercise but some guyz informed the house a week after the test that they were called for interview. I wouldn't know if they have been finally employed cos that was what the house heard last about the recruitment exercise.
I was at the PH test centre then 4 gate crashing purpose but wasn't allowed. We(gatecrashers) were informed by the slb staff conducting the test that another test would be coming up in april 2011. Guyz, we are in april, is anythng still coming up or it's just slb version of april fool? Any idea?

slb has recruited twice this year both BENG and mostly HNDs. They have been employed. A friend that worked their told me so

If u're quite sure that's the sender's email address, then it's for real. That's the slb e-mail address of the Head of recruitment for schlumberger, Nigeria.
Also, if u stay in Lagos, there is no harm in going to the venue on that day. Just be on your guard.
If I may ask, what course did u study and what position did u apply for?
