SCAM? I got a mail from Coastal Drilling Land Company

Dear Applicant,

Coastal Drilling Land Company, is a international drilling company serving the
South Texas drilling market, providing both day work and turnkey contracts,
due to expansion plans, we will commence operation in Port Harcourt,Rivers State in the month of June.

We received your application in which you have been short-listed to participate in
the forth-coming practical test/induction training. To avail you with Safety Training Materials,
you are advised to pay an Administrative/ Procurement Fee of N3,500.00(Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira)
to the Recruiting Administrative Department as stated below:

Bank name: First Bank Plc.

Send your payment slip to [email protected] . Your Reference Number, date and venue for the
practical test/induction training shall be sent to you upon confirmation of your payment.

which will be used for accreditation.

You don't need an angel 2 tell you that it is a scam. No genuine company will collect money from job seeker talk less of drilling company. Guy run!

I got a similar mail too that was sent on the 21st Apr n I got it in my spam on 18th May, here's a copy of the mail...

Imagine N3500 in 1000 places! These people are big time scammers. I got the same mail too in my spam folder.

The mail just came in NOW NOW and it stinks of SCAM all over it.

Whoever is close to First Bank should warn them that the details of teh signatories to that account are being investigated and if they are found to conive with these thieves, they'l have a tough time explaining it in court.

Scammers really don de run out of ideas o! And dem gats chop eiya! All this method of scamming is old fashioned.... These guys re so dumb that they cannot change their style. Imagine them asking for money where companies lyk Shell dey give Tfare to all who wrote their test! Hmmm na wa o! I support Peaceofpeace, that first bank account holder should be apprehended....

please help us tell first bank to freeze the account so that more people will not be falling victims of this scam like me. i discorvered it's scam just about an hour after payment, the OPM told me the account has been debit fixed i.e it cannot be debited and the bank refused to reverse the transaction and they refuse to block/freeze the account which means the account is still accepting the money from the paying customers....Tell FIRST BANK To block the account o before we start having the impression of the SCAM conjuction
