@chrisevans, boss I also did the saipem interview last month on the 21st, please who said they would call before the end of the month.

I did my interview on the 21st of last month in lagos & i got an offer today from saipem for the position of a Sub contract engineer. Thank you Jesus.

Saipem has started sending out "sorry" or "congratulations" emails 2 those that wrote d test for the Subsea Engineering position on the first week of April.
check ur mails for update.

@tribeDan I did the inteview on the 26th of last month..nothing yet..God is in control..
I believe d mails sent are meant for those that havent been contacted yet for interviews (mostly subsea mech folks).
Some people has been invited for medical.
Some people have been invited for medicals for the subcontract and I know someone called for the process engr.

I guess after all the wait they have decieded to remember us,they sent me a mail inviting for skill test. Anybody with useful info would be appreciated...
If you are applying for mechanical/electrical engineering then it is certain you will be test on the following
english/verbal reasoning
mathematics/numerical reasoning
abstract/spacial reasoning
mechanical reasoning
mechanical/electrical engineering skill test
The best you can do is to get any materials on these and start preparing.
I will recommend some few for you

2. BLUEPRINT MECHANICAL REASONING TEST DVD/E-BOOK/HANDOUT

4. BLUEPRINT ABSTRACT REASONING TEST DVD/E-BOOK/HANDOUT
5. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SKILL TEST DVD/E-BOOK/HANDOUT
6. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SKILL TEST DVD/E-BOOK/HANDOUT

Technical test is same as skill test rit?. Becos mine is technical interview. Is it going to be normal test or Oral Interview. I Need help based asap.
it should be an interview where they test your technical skills.
they will ask you questions and would want to see how you would try to solve the problem.
Or ask you questions based on what you read.
they don't have a steady format, so be very prepared
