Ur priority determines ur decision here..As for me what am more concerned about right now is a company that trains well..money aint my priority now..I just want to be the Engineer I have always dreamed off...so am waiting patiently for u saipem..
well its a noble one for core engineers but for one applying for a buyer like me, no way am gonna leave a 250k+ paying job for 80 what???
as per looks, they can be deceptive cos when i wrote nlng test, the guys there were not all that in terms of appearance...na bank a/c matter o!!!

@ All: I am perturbed at how everyone seems to be worrying about the pay. The level of pessimism is killing. Why not hope for the best and pray that you get a letter of employment first before you decide whether you want the job or not. To me, a coy will not bother to conduct test, pay T-fare to candidates and invite foreign nationals to conduct an interview for a job that is not worth it. Let’s be positive and trust God for a favorable outcome - As for me I am persuaded that this is my year of Good News.

those commenting about the pay, don't forget that thread was in 2010! For all its worth, they might have revamped the whole system. Although it raises a good point to be considered as well...

@UCL it lasted for abt 45minutes we were all civil Engrs on the list for subsea..cant say if there was another list but we were like 12 in number

@kwemby Its for subsea.bcos we all did our test for subsea and we where from both PH and lag..nothing is impossible though..but am sure mech guys wud be called cos we were all civil engrs

Just saw this thread..I also did the subsea interview.I am a civil engineer tho.. Has anybody been given offer for the subsea or mechanical or any other engineering position??...
@chrisevans I did the interview too for subsea..haven't heard from them nor have any of my contact from same interview..God is all we need to win..let's just keep praying..
