SCNL (Saipem Contracting Nigerian Limited) is a subsidiary of SAIPEM S.p.A., a leader in Energy Sector.
Due to an increasing workload and the expansion of our Onshore and Offshore activities in Nigeria, we are seeking for highly qualified, pro-active, fast learning, well organized and motivated resources for the position listed below.

SUBSEA ENGINEERS (SSE)
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation of the operative procedures for the integration and testing of the whole umbilical and control system with the other equipment of the system e.g. for FAT, EFAT and SIT
• Participate in the definition and development of statement of requirements for subsea umbilical and control systems, from early development stage of project through execution phase
• Provide technical support to all activities related to bidding and detailed engineering
• Prepare specification of subsea control system architecture and equipment.
• Review of Clients technical documents and requirements
• Control the subcontracted engineering documents belonging to subsea control and umbilical discipline
• Prepare the design basic/ CTR x riser design and interface with relative process and structures
• Prepare the technical specification and data sheets for material purchasing and ancillary structure
• Perform and verify all discipline analysis and calculation notes required to design the riser system as well as Check those of third party/subcontractors
• Define standards and procedures for relative engineering area and contribute to software evaluation

Requirement

SUBSEA ENGINEERS (SSE),

• Must not be more than 28 years of age
• 0 – 3 years experience is required for SUBSEA ENGINEERS (SSE)
• All applicants must hold a University degree in Mechanical Engineering , Civil/ Structural Must have completed the NYSC programme
• Engineering or Marine Engineering with a minimum grade of Second Class - Upper Division

@kreal, I tire oh! The same advert and we that wrote d test last month (mech engrs) havent even been cald 4 interviews yet and they re requesting more applicants! I wonder what these people are up to!

Those shortlisted for interview in the other one will be added to this and the interview done together.

I just got an invitation for aptitude test for the position of a subsea engineer in saipem next wk.Plz i need materials for preparation.I need ur help on wat to expect.email:[email protected]

i was invited for the subsea aptitude test in PH on 31st of ay but i m in lagos. i dont think it is wise for me to go to PH just because of the test. please can anyone invited in lagos that will be writing next week help me with the date and venue for the test so that i will come with my PH invitation.

I think its best U contact them b4 U make such move... They might not av records of U at pH. Just my 2 cents though...

a friend of mine who did the piping engr test shared this with me, i hope this wud help:
, so i really dont knw wat format dey'd use dis time, but during my time it was mostly from thermal expansivity, pressure vessles (tin shell), pumps and compressor efficency, fluid mechanics (b.equtn), properties of materials, heat engine (rankie cycle etc). u can contact kelvin too i tink he wrote of recent.

D exam is it usually objective or in some other form
