We require a qualified candidate to fill this position.Responsibilities:Excellent Knowledge about construction safety measures.Ensure all safety measures are adhered to on the construction site.Implementing safety measures during the construction procedure.Educating labour about safety measures in construction.Following up on accidents and investigating causes.Keeping up to date with new safety laws.Ensuring that all the machinery and equipment meet safety standards by inspecting the condition of machines.Present safety reports to the management, point out lapses and suggest means to improve.Requirements:A good first/university degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with Diploma in Occupational Safety.A minimum of 6 years working experience within the occupational safety environment (Construction).Professional qualification/certification in construction safety will be an added advantage.
