I HEARD OVER THE RADIO THAT THE PTDF SCHOLARSHIP FORM IS OUT.THOUGH I DID NOT WALKED IN AT THE RIGHT TIME WHEN THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE.SO I CALLED A FAMILY FRIEND THAT WORKS AT THE STATE SECRETARIAT IN OWERRI,IMO STATE TO CONFIRM THE AUTHENCITY.SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED ABOUT THE FORM.ALSO,THAT I SHOULD COME TO THE SECRETARIAT NEXT WEEK.
PLEASE PUT EVERY EFFORT TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FORM.

I went to the Ministry of education in Ekiti and I was told that the PTDF form is not yet out. They do not even know when it will be out.

i just checked the website of ptdf today and the online form is not yet out. let us all have patience bcos the form must definitely be posted in their website.God will help us

Got an information it's out already at the state scholarship board of about 16 states while other states refused given it out. Only God knows what the problem is. Any useful information should pls be disseminated quickly.

PTDF Accuses States of Withholding Scholarship Form
November 3, 2006 - Posted in Education News, Scholarship
Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), yesterday accused 26 states of delaying its efforts at improving knowledge base of the country’s youths in oil and gas technology, by hoarding forms meant for this year’s scholarship programme.
Executive Secretary of the Fund, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, who stated this in Abuja , said the action of the states may disrupt PTDF’s planned time table for the execution of the scheme.
The affected states include, Ogun, Rivers, Ebonyi, Enugu, Benue, Sokoto, Kaduna , Plateau, Kogi, Edo, Delta, Kwara, Osun, Oyo , Niger , Jigwa, Gombe, and Kebbi.
Addressing newsmen, Waziri, said a total of 100 scholarship forms for Masters and Doctorate degree programmes were forwarded through the state laison offices in Abuja, for onward distribution to the state scholarship boards, but out of the 36 states, only 11 and the Federal Capital Terrtory have been able to pass the forms to the appropriate places.
He described the situation as unfortunate, while appealing to the affected states to expedite action and ensure that the forms get to the candidates in good time.
He said because of the withholding of the forms, the Fund has now shifted its closing date for completion and submission to November 16, from the earlier date of November 2, 2006.

Can any1 pls verify this from the states mentioned above. 16th is just few days from now. Hw true can this be?
