FOR those whose course requires ATAS cert, make sure you attach both the ATAS cert and CAS letter FROM ur university.
To more about ATAS visit the uk border website or better still contact ur school for clearification.
@ anyone going to imperial here? While applying, was told to supply referees mail with a company/institution domain name which I don't have. Also I have a C5 in english language and I think the minimun is C4. What's the way out? Though am not a ptdf scholar but I need it for the september admission.thanks

Hi everyone...am new on this thread.I was told PTdf sent mails to people to send their CAS and up till now I have not received such a mail.pls wat do I do.
@all who wrote the ptdf msc aptitude test and passed, congratulation. I have tried on several occasion, studying hard for the test but having been able to make the final list. My area of interest has been in instrumentation and control, and most recently CONTROL systems as ptdf have streamlined it to just this. Please if you have any useful material, especially in the later kindly forward to [email protected] for me to start preparing for the next one. Once again congratulations and many thanks.
@katyperry if u r also a successful scholar i.e. Ur name is on the list make sure u regularly update ur form on the ptdf page and sent ur CAS letter and ATAS(wer apllicable) to [email protected] pls do so ASAP coz it'll affect visa processing,all d best

Are you a PTDF scholar? If you are, then you ought to have gotten the mail. Check ur mail box and ur spam. It should definately be in your mail box. Bt if it isn't there, send ur ATAS certificate and CAS details to [email protected].
Are you already in the UK or would you be in the UK for in the next few months? Can you teach any subject to secondary or post-secondary students( A levels) in the UK and make between £15-£25 per hour to supplement your pocket money? Then register for free at http://www.collegetutors.co.uk/tutor_reg0.php and wait for students in the UK to contact you for private teaching. Even if you are not already in the UK with no specific address. You can still register with the speculated town that you are going to be in.

@ Stfrest, how did you sort out ur accomodation issue with Cranfield? I was sent a mail requesting i accept my accomodation by paying a 400 pounds deposit. I'd really appreciate ur earliest response. Thanks.

@fahimself sacs has already said it all. Simply forward an appeal for a temporary waiver of the deposit based on your status as a full scholar (PTDF). Send the mail to [email protected]
Include a copy of your PTDF congratulatory mail, and either the list of scholars, or the web link to the same. The accommodation offer will then be accepted on your behalf, and PTDF invoiced at a later date.
All those going to cranfield make sure you hv ur ATAS certificates ready. check all the conditions that are needed to be met and be sure you have it all.

I just left the PTDF office. I asked about the induction and the reply was: "We are looking at July ending". So there is no fixed date but watch out for July, at worst I see early August.
No, we are to send only CAS. If you need ATAS just apply but send you CAS only. I was at PTDF today, read that email again you will see. Apply for ATAS, SEND CAS. The person who send us that email told me the same thing.Quote:

is this years PTDF Scholarship over. i checked their site and saw October 2012 as the deadline.please can someone put me through. i did not hear it on time.
@aboyman, the 2012 PTDF scholarship advert will soon be out. They are almost through with the printing of the application scratch cards. So keep your fingers crossed, hopefully advert will be out on 1st October, 2012. (By that time, I'll be in Glasgow watching scotish league live bro.............................)Quote:

Fellow scholars, I am filling my accomodtaion application form right now, and there are columns for 'Expected Arrival Date' and 'Expected Departure Date'. The programme is starting September 10, but I don't know when I will be arriving the institution, and the end date is not stated on my offer letter. Is it adviceable to just fill in any date before september 10 for arrival date?
@windows7 look men it wise not to give an arbitrary date...check with ptdf and make necessary confirmation from ur school like late arrival date e.t.c.

I have still not gotten my CAS oh..... My school is insisting on getting a letter from PTDF regarding the funding before they issue my CAS. I am going to Abuja on Monday to get the letter from PTDF.
