I am Datha,yu guys for PTDF play safe and maximise all good opportunity in uk oooo
To all; That's true, if anybody hears of the induction date, the person should keep the house informed :o ;). One Love :-*!!!
The last time i called Wariso, he mentioned the 10th of August. I don't know if that date is still feasible cos it's really close and they haven't said anything. He also mentioned that the induction is going to be in batches with those that have already got their CAS numbers in the first batch.

Does anyone have any information about PhD candidates?
Myexcellency2 you are correct o! We need to know when the phd result will come out. Maybe ptdf will release the result before fixing the induction date in order to have everything in one basket for proper planning.
Hopefully they do it quick. People are under tension here. :D
It seems the MSc admissions are giving them a tough time because of all the new immigration rules from UK. But I still think it shouldn't affect the release of the PhD list.
Thanks.
@ johnnycage, dnt know anyone goingto RGU but i know someone going to University of Aberdeen. since they are both in the same town, u cld try to link up.
Congrats everyone. Is anyone going to University of Aberdeen or Birmingham?? pls reply
Robert Gordon and Uni Aberdeen are less than 4 km apart through George street via Powis Place. In terms of accomodation and cost of living, you aren't going to save much except Robert gordon is pretty much in the city centre than Uni Aberdeen. Anyone sure of admission by ptdf now should start looking for accomodation immediately on the net. You can use gumtree.com, spareroom.com and accomodation for student.com. It could be as low as £80 per week and as high as £120 per week at the peak time around sept/oct.
Bills (Electricity, internet, Gas etc.) may be inclusive you are lucky. Landlord generally requires for 1 month rent and deposit (equiv. 1 month rent) in advance. A lease contract purgeable at the bar for 1 year will be there for u to sign. Difficult to pull out without serious penalty if signed even if you see cheap rent elsewhere.
But be careful Aberdeen is always cold and here windy, average minimum summer temp. is about 18 degree. There4, guys put on jackets all the times. Make una shine eyes o!
::)
Hi all.
Is anyone out there looking to come to the Universirty of Aberdeen or Robert Gordon University in September? Timothy Generation is a Student Organisation with units in both universities. Nigerian students make up a very large percentage of membership and we have a programme to assist new students settle into their new environment as smoothly as possible.
Studying in a foreign land is both a stressful and wonderful experience. That's why Tim Gen wants to help students to maximise their student experience in Aberdeen. Experience has shown us that many new students experience difficulties in getting around their first few weeks Aberdeen. Thus, things like opening a bank account, registering with a doctor, getting a national insurance number, finding your way around town, getting a flat (which is the biggest headache at this time of year), knowing where to buy cheap food tend to stress out new students.
So Tim Gen, in association with RCCG Jesus House, Aberdeen (yes, the very one in PH) is here to assist newcomers to Aberdeen to have a problem-less arrival! You may even be surprised with a meet-and-greet at the airport, train and bus stations!
If you are coming to Aberdeen or you know someone who is, then why don't you get in contact:
