Job Description

LP Resourcing Company is a premium Manpower Outsourcing company which special focus on Executive Recruitment, Contract staffing, Long and Short Term Manpower resourcing for both local and expatriates resources, HR Shared services, Payroll Management and Training. We are positioned to specifically serve the Telecoms & IT, Energy, Integrated Logistics, and Oil & Gas Industries.


Responsibilities:
The role of the Project Director (ISG) is to efficiently oversee and manage all the Infrastructures Rollout activities of the Company covering Optical Fiber ELP/OSP and Turnkey Civil Site Builds.

Project Management :
Oversee efficient deployment of infrastructure services on all projects covering both new sites and expansion of existing ones, including the design and implementation of the project plan; tendering and managing engineering design and construction companies; commissioning and qualification activities and handover to clients.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Vet budget proposals as prepared by project managers for civil and fiber, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Scrutinize progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations and based on these make recommendations to senior management for appropriate actions.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

Quality/Compliance:
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations / national legal requirements, including completion of all Laplace commitments to plan specifically relating to the accuracy of project documentation.

People Management:
Operate in a matrix organization, driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that projects are promptly delivered.
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel for the projects.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project managers, and influence them to take positive, corrective action and accountability for their assigned work.
Continuous Improvement
Explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Track performance and develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Manage subordinates performances and recommend relevant training and developmental programs necessary for the acquisition of relevant skills and competencies.

Health and Safety:
Ensure work is carried out in a safe manner with due regard for the health and safety of staff, other work colleagues and the work environment.
Play a significant role in support of Safety, Health and Environmental considerations through the development and implementation phases of the project.


Qualifications and Requirements:
Engr/HND in any Engineering Discipline. MBA/MSc will be an added advantage
Minimum of 10 years experience and 5 years direct work experience in a project management, leadership and control capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Must be a professional certified Project Manager: PMP/PRINCE2
Good understanding of the Mobile Wireless Telecommunication Network Architectures and network components not limited to Radio Access, Transport and Civil Site Build
Strong familiarity with project management & other Business Applications software
Demonstrated experience in personnel & process management.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
Strong written and oral communication, and strong interpersonal skills
Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Maximum Age of 45 Years

Work Conditions:
Overtime may be required in meet project deadlines.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Some moderate travel within the Country may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
