Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed on designated shift, as well as plant security. Additionally, the Team Leader Position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters and for participation in both the hiring and performance management processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift
• Ensure security of facilities during designated shift hours
• Enforce all safety and processing procedures
• Enable effective communications between management and operators
• Train new employees and coach existing employees
• Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol
• Investigate and report all incidents (spills, accidents, and poor performance, )
• Manufacture and pack products as necessary
• Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
• Work together with the team to ensure that the pub is the best it can be
• Always be a good team player
• Build and maintain good relationships with all team members
• Be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload
• Be able to communicate well with people of all levels
• Ability to lead and motivate others under pleasure
• Wiliness to work shift, including night shift
• Knowledge of production management strategies
QUALIFICATION
• HND/BSC in Mechanical, Production engineer
• 3-6 years experience as a team leader in a production company
• Must have work in a structured environment
