Product Application Engineer –Technical Specialist Vacancy

Our Client, is a power solutions company that has been successfully operating Independent Power Provider Projects (IPP) in Nigeria since 2009 and it require smart, articulate and achievement -driven individuals to team up and energise their technical team.


VACANT POST: Product Application Engineer –Technical Specialist

The successful candidate, with applied specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practises across various areas in the company will , amongst other things, have the responsibility to;

• Supports projects in idenitification, understanding of client’s requirements to develop technical specifications
• Design implementation
• Develops and delivers training on client’s application
• Interfaces with other non-technical team members
• Applies technical expertise on complex components or projects with minimal supervision
• Leads small and large projects
• Provides technical direction for project and members
• Influences at departmental or program management level
• Provides input on program-related decision making
• Provides input on program-related decisions
• Proposes innovative initiatives and projects
• Demonstrates depth of knowledge of engineering discipline[s]
• Troubleshoots complex problems and recommends appropriate actions
• Assists with the transfer of knowledge, coaches and mentors less experienced engineers.

Academic Qualification: Minimum of HND/B.Sc in any Engineering field. Postgraduate degrees will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

• 4 - 6 years of hands on experience.
• Installation of Quality Assurance Engine skill
• Installation of Systems-cooling [Engine] skill
• Installation of Systems-electronic [Engine] skill
• Analytical skill
• Project Management experience
• Evidence of similar projects handled
