Planning/Cost Controller Position

• PLANNER with a minimum of 8 years of experience planning. Candidate should have preferably HNC/HND qualified within an engineering discipline including preparation of detailed manufacturing and project plans. Candidate should have sound experience in the global planning of umbilical projects and ensuring that the project reporting is carried out in such a manner as to accurately reflect the current status of the projects, and that necessary plans and reports are prepared for submission to the relevant management. The Candidate must be able to prioritise and plan work activities to achieve customer requirement dates, extracting relevant information from manufacturing plans and collating the information into the format required by a specific project, including front end engineering design and procurement activities.
• COST CONTROLLER with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Candidate should have preferably HNC/HND/BSC qualification and with an engineering Oil and Gas experience. Candidate will assist and support the cost control engineer on EPC contract. The candidate will be responsible for follow up on activities on small to medium engineering services, secondment activities, and lumpsum engineering services contracts or reimbursable. Monitors budget forecast for small projects under the cost engineer supervision. To present actual and forecast project performance to Management. To maintain the accuracy and integrity of data (actual + budget) in relevant systems/databases. Issues special man-hours registration and / or invoicing procedure. Provides the Accounting department with necessary information for invoicing and accounting. Ensures compliance with and implementation of both company and client, HSE Management System objectives and procedures. Ensures compliance with corporate Quality standards and GOPS.
