Philip Consulting enquiry (NNPC)
Hello house,
Does anybody know if negative marking will be used regarding the NNPC test conducted by Philip consulting last saturday.
So many irregularities and inconveniences came up, to the extent that people wrote exam with torch light. Your opinions will be highly valued. Thanks house.

The invigilator at my centre (Enugu) told us to fill all open boxes, as there will be no negative marking.
So we just started filling our best guesses

Re: Philip Consulting enquiry (NNPC)
i heard from another reliable source precisely a staff of phillips consulting and he told me that negative marking will be used and that it is the last joker for them to trim down the number of those that will qualify for the next stage and he went further to say that some questions in the quantitative section have no answer and any option you choose for these sets of question is -1
Re: Philip Consulting enquiry (NNPC)
@seunlove u are right.some questions have no answer.
Re: Philip Consulting enquiry (NNPC)
that was true i had to leave about 2of my questions without ticking any answer
Re: Philip Consulting enquiry (NNPC)
I think we should all draw a distinction between solving a question and not getting the correct answer, and the right answer not being among the options given.
Anyways, if this info about Philips Consulting adopting negative marking is anything to go by, it amounts to sheer wickedness cos the conditions under which the test was written was far from conducive as to allow one to calmly study the questions and choose the right options. It promoted guessing!!
