Pls how can i reduce all d stated doct to 200kb

I don't fink dis pple r serious abt dia rcrtmnt. How do dey xpect a 200kb PDF doc to accomodate a CV, Cover leta, Bsc, Waec n Birth certificates. Dat is impossibly imposibu. Dnt dey no dat a PDF doc format wil naturally increas a word doc format?
E.g, a 30kb word doc wil give abt 290kb in PDF Format. Mtcheeeeeeew. Despite compressin all ma certificates in2 a page, reducing my CV & Cover leta in2 a single page each, d size in word format was abt 70kb while in PDF it was 500kb. Noooooonsence!

@all...It is very possible to compress all those documents into a file of 200kb. Reduce the size of your documents in Jpeg e.g your discharge certificate with microsoft picture manager before converting them to PDF. If u have Adobe Acrobat 7 (not Adobe Reader). U can further reduce the size of the file using PDF Optimizer option under Advanced. I hope this helps. I actually reduced my documents which was originally 1.2MB to a mere 195kb

@GOLFER pls next time try nd b sure b4 u start misleading pple. wat do u mean dat it is not possible to reduce d docs to 200kb in pdf? instead u will ask on hw to go abt it dat u dnt knw hw to do it, u re saying tins dat are wrong. 4 ur info i jst helped sme1 to reduce his own to 185kb. so wat are u saying? pls try nd tak note incase of next time

@realfond, afta i opened adobe acrobat7 den i clicked on advanced to pdf optimiser but i cant see where i can reduce d doct, pls can u help me with more info on this. @biotech pls can u xplain d metod u use to redure ur doct.Thanks

There has to be a way to go about this 200kb thing...i tried all i could but came up with 558kb (1 pdf doc. containing all the credentials)...

@kullo2u...first resize d jpg files wit microsoft office picture manager.open microsoft word,copy everythn u need into it.it wil gv u abt 8pages.then print dat microsoft document using pdf creator.it comes out as a single pdf doc.dats wat i did and got 167kb

its one thing to reduce d docs to amt to 200kb and its anoda thing for the reduced jpeg docs to b visible. i reduced mine to 197kb but i cldnt get a clear visual of wat my scanned documents stated. i cld barely pick out my own name and to think dt someone else (recruiter) will go thru it.

when resizing,tick 'predefined width x height'. from the drop down arrow, select "web - large(640 x 480px)",then save.it reduces the jpg file by upto 50% and its still legible in the final pdf document

@kreal...sorry bro. I saw your message late. I guess u have already reduced it using the method that has been described above.

anoda method open ur cv in word & attach ur crtedentials by compresing evry one in email or doc size & save. den enta tru google and type word2pdf conversion and browse ur cv and convert to pdf

Exactly... this can be done. I did this when submitting my application back in 2011 and it worked just fine. One thing about the aviation industry is one's ability to follow instructions. Your ability to find a solution to an otherwise "impossible" problem is also considered in the selection process.
