Did my own interview today and feel i should contribute my own quota...
The questions asked are really same as stated by other fellows, just that i was asked a few mechanical questions.
Like what is a pressure valve, compressor and pump. One hausa man there wanted to get me off the line but thanks to God, the chairman and my determination not to loose balance.
The chairman ask me to introduce myself...i mentioned my name and then some of my strengths. The man quickly responded that am saying a different thing, though the chairman did not say anything. I was also asked what the square root of 9 is?
I was told to mention three subsidiaries of NNPC aside PPMC, and i should mention the functions of IDSL and NPDC.
At the end of it all, i believed i got a nod from the chairman and the man beside him.
This is not to say that you will be asked the same thing but just get prepared and be confidence, even when you are told that you got a question wrong...there are other questions you can get right.
Let's meet at the training school.
I had mine today, I guess before oseri! I was also asked to introduce mysself in one minute which I did and then I was asked to differentiate between compressors and pumps! Although the alhaji amongst them said nothing to me but the man beside the chairman really gave me supports by nods! I also was asked to mention two subsidiaries and their functions, I mentioned PPMC and NPDC, I was asked their functions as well! Most of the followin questions arose from my experiences on my cv. Pls study detailing everything on your cv,
Let's meet at the training school by God's grace! I wish you luck too!
cariest4u and themummy
thanks a million for that info.please are you guys mechanical engineers? i mean your field of study
I did mine on the 18th of this month. The first question I was asked was that I should tell them what I know about the Oil & Gas sector of Nigeria (i.e the 3 streams Upstream, Midstream and Downstream and their activities) after which every other thing was concerning my CV. My advise is that one shouldn't include what he/she doesn't know in his/her CV. Best of luck to U all.
Let's hear the conclusion of the matter...Have faith in God and be bold when answering your questions...to those who have done, do you think it is possible to know if you make it by the attitude of your interviewer...especially the chairman.
I don't think so, bcos they will always give u a positive responses and gestures
I think philips consulting will eventually just choose successful people by some vague means or so.u know these consulting firms are so unbelievable and unpredictable.u will be shocked when u are told that u failed an interview that has gone entirely smooth .i have those kind of bad experienced before with accenture, hcdc etc.just be praying. Na just god.
