Hi guys,
This thread is for Trainee Operators/Technologists. Let those who had participated in any earlier interview conducted by NNPC for Trainee Operators/Technologists share their experience with us. I'm also expecting words from those currently employed as Trainee Operator/Technologist as regard what to expect in the interview. Who knows what u share might put someone in NNPC. Lets be our brothers keeper.

bidey, Operator/Technologist Interview is no different from other cadres, so:
* Ensure u package urself in compliance with the job advert
* Know every single datail on ur CV
* Know current issues in the Oil and Gas Industry and state capitals
* Be knowledgeable in ur native discipline( EE, PE, CE, MET/MAT,PHY/ELECTRONICS, SLT,etc...)
* Be able to explain basic Job safety rules/analysis and what u didin ur final year project
* Demonstrate understanding of PC applications and hand-on in maintainance
* During response, ask a simple and unambiguous question
* Be calm and composed b4 the panelist, answer only quetions directed to u
* Be well dressed
* Take out time to pray and fast for a day; that paves way for more divine presence, and

sodiumbond, when we say "credentials" it implies "CV+BC+LGA+STATEMENT/CERTIFICATE+NYSC/DISCHARGE+PROF. CERT +PASSPORT PHOTO +SSCE", etc. Having these in place saves u from unnecessary tension and expenses during interview. God bless u.
Guys, I like to know if Trainee Operator position was advertised exclusively for HND holders or if any OND holder applied and was invited for the test and interview. Also I want to know if someone with a Lower Credit OND grade and an Upper Credit HND grade is qualified 4 d interview. Please tell me what you feel about this!
@maxweber, it's nice hearing from u again after the NLNG trend. I remember u ar one of the successful candidates in the NLNG operator trend then. I was only sent a letter of consolation telling me dat they are constrain by the number of people required. But this time around, I shall be successful IJN. Billed for 2morrow, It is well.Quote:

I will implore all trainee Operators to go with their credentials. The panel consist of seven individuals. i was interviewed by panel 2. I think most EEs was interviewed by this panel while petroleum related disciplines had theirs with panel 1.
Above all it was a wonderful experience. Catch u at the training school.

tips: dress officially, be 100% confident cos thats wot they need, know averthing abt ur cv cos 80% of question will come frm der. LASLTY PUT UR TRUST IN GOD. ASK 4 HIS MERCY FAVOUR N GRACE. IF U DO ALL THESE THEN WE SHALL MEET IN THE TRAINING SCHL IJN

I had mine 2day. Infact i'm still on my way home. Pls take note of these- go wit ur original credentials and try to edit ur cv well. Questions came out 4rm cv, nnpc acquaintances. I wish odas all d best.
