please dear house, who would be kind enough to post to the house the test format for NNPC or anybody that have an idea or clue of what their test look like should please contribute. I'm Really lost on what to prepare with, abi is it the normal Gmat aptitude test questions?
if its philips consulting, the test format will be gmat (maths and critical reasoning) and SHL (quantitative aptitude)...they also added like 6 management questions for the SEC test. It was 80 questions in all to be answered in 1 hour. Good luck guys.

PART A: Questions 1-30:In GMAT 2005, pges 298-314. In GMAT 2006, pages 350-354, 371-378.
PART B: English tests. Questions 31-60: In GMAT 2005, pages 101-116 and covers questions 6-9, 23-26, 40-43, 57-60, 74-77. In GMAT 2006, pages 225-227.

@mangohead, d nnpc test i did in 2008, which i passed by the way, is not like d one u just described. I studied elect/elect. there was no science or engineering questions. There were 3 sections, maths, english and some stuff to do with diagrams. i am not familiar with gmat so cant really say if its in gmat. But i remebre d diagrams had to do with folding boxes and unfolding boxes.
I heard Phillips consulting is conducting it this yr, so i will advice instead of looking for nnpc format, to look for phillips consulting format.

@pea, thanks for the info, how do you mean critical reasoning: Is it the type in which: 2 BOYS, 3GIRLS SIT OPPOSITE OTHER 3BOYS AND TWO GIRLS, AND THE QUESTION IS WHO SITS CLOSE TO THE FIRST BOY?..or is it a different pattern

Survival of the fittest is the game here, a friend played it once on me on the paper of the HSE job Chevron in P.H,When we wrote 3 tests paper that day, he was obviously scared that I might get the job because I was leading in the 2 tests done previously,I made him to pass the second test,explaining how the computer works.he held his part or knowledge back on the HSE side claiming he knows nothing, the end of the exam.he was laughing when he found out then that I barely had a clue,he eventually got the job and is currently working in chevron,I gate crashed that test,if I was given a week,I would have gotten that job.Well for all those seeking materials,read wide.People like Jesus Army have a clue,threads on test have been posted on this site,dig deep u will find sumthin.
