I am among those yet to receive mine, but my intuition tells me that I will still be called to write the test after all ..."All things are possible to him that believes".
For you to understand why I am surprised....I have a friend that has a first class honors in his first degree; he is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and has 6 years plus experience.He is yet to receive the IV.
Could it be possible that the consultants did balloting in picking those to invite?
Time will tell as God will intervene.

I'm afraid the issue of bias doesn't seem to be case 'cos of the numerous testimonies from fellow hot jobbers and others (even though not everyone would readily tell you of "follow-ups" sought).

However, I align my thoughts with yours on doubts over the consistency of the exercise 'cos I find myself in the same situation as your friend (in my case: 1st class BSc; industrial experience with KRPC-NNPC; stint in a downstream oil & gas coy; MSc; 2 relevant professional certifications) and yet to receive an invite!

One would expect that a basic reason for consulting a third-party recruiter is to ensure that every ELIGBLE candidate has a fair chance to prove their mettle through subsequent stages of the process. But we find ourselves in a paradoxical situation. In any case, my best wishes goes to those shortlisted either by way of eligibility or good fortune (as testified by bla below). Hope it sticks with you all the way!

@Potman...u'll receive the mail soon, I just got mine yesterday, on close check I realise the mail was only sent on d 18th from Lag, I received it 2days later in Abj. DHL called me when they got to my gate...thus even if u used ur residential addy, there's no cause for alarm.

Hi peps I just got the mail for my neigbour who will be sitting for the test at Lagos, It's the original/hard copy of the content of the mail sent as IV, I'm hopefully waiting to get my own before travelling to Enugu for the test. Any body going to Enugu from Lagos? Let's hook please.

@all,dont worry urself,just start preparing 4 d test,d courier people will call u.they just call me dis morning 2 2 my test location 4 my percel,and am in Lag.so i ve 2 travel down 2 KANO 2 get it.

However because your earlier uploaded credentials are not legible, you are required to re-submit ALL your credentials on the NNPC Recruitment portal: http://recruitment.nnpcgroup.com.

You can gain accesss to the portal using your username ([email protected]) and your password as earlier created.
If however, you have a Second Class Lower (2.2) Degree or less, you need NOT resubmit your credentials as they will NOT be processed.

The portal will be open from 7th March to 11th March, 2011.
