NLNG Ship Manning Limited (NSML, subsidiary of Nigeria LNG Limited, seeks to engage personnel for immediate employment in the following positions:
Trainee Electrical Officers – Ref: NSML/2011/004
Location: Onboard LNLG Chartered Ships




The Job: the appointee will be required to maintain electrical installations on board vessels and safely repair all electrical equipment as directed by the Chief Engineer.
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Repair electrical equipment
• Maintain integrity of electrical installations
• Monitor electrical insulations onboard the vessel
• Undertake fault-finding and repair electrical and electronic systems on board vessels
• Carry out other electrical duties as required by the Chief Engineer

The Person: The right person should:

• Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or Physics obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit.
• Be a good team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Be professional and able to carry our tasks with little supervision
• Not be more than 25 years old

No experience is required for this position but knowledge of marine electrical installations onboard a vessel will be an added advantage

greetings, pls if there is any1 who have applied, kindly intimate the house, i log on the site but the registration is a whole lot. i even thought of bypassing some but kept my faith but can't finish it.i hope to complete it soonest but considering the job as a trainee, can we inform ourselves of the important part to be completed before making application or shld we go tru the whole thing.neve mind if is the only option.10s

Pls i finished my registration bt dnt know how 2 apply 4 d post at hand.i did try using apply by ref code bt didn't succd as d apply button nt active.dnt know if already applied by filling d preferences. I applied through reference number and the thing went through once you finish the application you will receive a notification message in your inbox which is your mail address but before i got it I had to keep on trying this is also among the criteria to prevent many applicants from applying and also to screen remember tomorrow is the last day.you've got between now and 11:59pm to do this application.just keep on trying it's well best of luck guys.

hello guys, use only internet explorer and make sure u turn off the pop up blocker. just applied and it was very fast.
Steps: type Nigeria LNG - Home == click careers == click on 3rd,2nd,electrical trainee by the right or simply the job portal == select registered or unregistered or job search etc it depends on u. Log in if registered, if not use ref code search. ensure the position to be apply is yellow on selection == double click and wait 4 ur application
guglk guys nd let's have info on the nature of their test.

Well I don't know If the test has taken another dimension I applied 2009 for this same Trainee electrical officer,we wrote six papers;critical reasoning,mechanical,electrical,mathematics and there was this one that you will be asked to either turn the shape anticlockwise or clockwise that how will the shape look like when turn either clockwise or anticlockwise and so on I forgotten the last one maybe comprehension.But you need to be fast,smart and accurate cos like mathematics,we were asked to solve like 36 questions under ten minutes they are simple questions but you won't use calculator you don't have to read for the test it's just common sense.we wrote the test at Lagos oriental hotel it was around the time that applied but it was written application then cos we didn't apply online.Goodluck guys for those that will be called for the test.

.@all,pls anybody that has anything to share concerning NLNG test format should do so,the appplication closed yesterday,so they are in the process of shortlisting for test, prayer i believe can move mountain,even if you do not meet the job requirements.We shall all get there in Jesus name

Evrytin tokspapy said concernin da test is true,i md it to d interview stage in 2009,a replay of dat day compare 2da interview xperience i hv now,i must say i didnt do well cos wat dy asked wr just normal interview questions n some drills on motors n generators.as 4 d test its al abt speed n accuracy.i dont knw if dy hv changd it,d trainin is 3yrs,1yr in bonny-1yr in d sea(4months in,2months rest),and 1yr in uk.hp dis helps

After I passed the test for trainee electrical officer that I was called 4 interview and after that nothings happen,I have written another test again for trainee operator that i also passed the test that i was also called for the interview and nothing happens too.for the trainee electrical officer we were only 40 people that made it to the interview stage and they needed just 10.Guy man know man really worked for some applicants that time.I didn't make it to the medical test stage for both positions cos it was another yardstick they used to disqualify some applicants on both positions

@House, pls I will like to knw if anybody that is 30yrs is invited for nlng the test. I'm really in a fix. I doctored my ..... to somethin below that but i'm scared now( i put it to sometin above 25 though, i can defend that ). I never knew i will be invited. I need help urgently. i wanted to come out straight or shld I leave it as is it?

congrat 2 all dat ve been invited. Bt i graduated wit distinction and i'm yet to see any invitation...

Please, is there anybody in the house who will be writing the test on Monday,8th August? Is it possible for an invitee to write the test on a date outside the one written on his/her invitation? I am asking this question because the date I am to write the test coincides with a very important appointment with another coy,hence ,I feel I should go there with my printed out invitation on Monday.

I just got an intel that LNG has other openings. I can't lay hold of vanguard or guardian newspaper of today.
