Whenever all these BIG companies like NLNG and other Multinationals tells you after an interview that you will be contacted X weeks later; Bros, just apply the simple arithmetic below to determine the actual date to expect anything from them;
Let the Number of Days promised be= X; where X=21(i.e.)
Let Y be the standard Quotient(Expressed in week). 21 Days implies Y=3
Therefore the Actual Date of Completion of any Recruitment Exercise effective from Interview Date(In Months) = {(X/Y)±X}.
As I'm confident this is a very simple arithmetic for anybody that went through the APT. TEST; From the result obtained from the above, it's obvious that the so called WAITING GAME just clocks half time.

@Bukap, you need to solve my equation and stop contemplating month in month out. And besides, has it not occurred to you all that there's age limit to this opening(28 years right?). How long will it take you guys to know that the delay tactics is another yardstick for yanking off candidates who are likely to get overaged if few months are added to their present age! Bukap, I called one of the HR people. He said that they were concluding on the recruitment. That the delay was due to the fact that they are still moving offices and the strike contributed.

We were administered five different tests including VERBAL COMPREHENSION, NUMERICAL COMPUTATION, VISUAL ESTIMATION, MECHANICAL COMPREHENSION, and lastly FAULT DIAGNOSIS. You can go to shl.com or psychometric-success.com for some sample questions, or better still drop in your email let me push an NLNGATS-SHL1 practice test material to your inbox. Good luck!

@jay Boi: I have pushed the practice material to your email address. Mechanical comprehension is to test your ability to analyse and interpret and basically understand simple and basic mechanical systems, principles, simple machines (gears, pulley and lever systems), etc. While fault diagnosis test your ability to find faulty component(s) in a system. All the tests are very simple but time will definitely not be your friend.Quote:
